I made this but with a different border I used one shell from one of your other tops ( dbl ch1 , dbl ch1 , dbl chl 1, dbl ch1 and then a fp dbl around the double crochet between the shells . On the 3 rd row of front button area I decided not to do buttons but to leave it open and used back loops only on the last row of single crochets . A gift for my sister
I am making this but have run out of yarn. I have used the 4 balls and just short for the band around the cardigan so I have ordered more and waiting for it to come in. I am making the large size.

yes I think it's possible of course, however you should recompute the number of initial chains. I do not have any idea how many...you should recalculate it on your own, sorry

Ja, einige Runden mehr, einige bevor die Armelloecher zu Haekeln, einige mehr auch spaeter, nachdem du vereinigt hast. Besser so machen, auf diese Weise die Armelloecher werden nicht zu Lang. Wenn ich nicht klar auf Deutsch bin, erklaere ich auch auf English. Zu schwer fuer mich auf Deutsch, tut mir leid 😥
To make this for winter with the worsted weight yarn, would I just use the hook size recommended by the yarn? Would the number of chains still be the same? Larger hook& yarn will make a bigger opening.
