Hi, sorry for the late respons, I was enjoying my holiday ☀️ It's annoying that your work looks different than planned, unfortunately it is still handwork and it can always turn out differently. You may crochet tighter than I do. You can start again and then make your measurements x 1.6 instead of 1.4. If that is not what you want, you can solve it by crocheting an extra piece on the side that is on the inside of your skirt. The same stitch but from top to bottom, then crochet the edge around it. Or make the edge a bit bigger on the sides using the stitch of the base of the skirt. Or make another panel and sew the pieces together. Hope this helps a bit
We all have different body shapes and each is beautiful in its own way. It's not about the size, it's about being comfortable in your own skin. My patterns can all be adjusted to everyone's wishes. This skirt is also super easy to adjust. I would love to see all the results in any other size, color or length.
