I’ve been gifting a lot of these. And I much prefer to listen along with you than to read the pattern. I wish there was a secret RU-vid where when we pay for a pattern we can do the same and listen along as we crochet together. I love it. It messes me up when I do look down and you’re a lefty 💀 I love your work and my family loves these dolls!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

It’s my row counter so I don’t get lost. You don’t need it to make the project. It’s just something I use to help me keep track because I get interrupted a lot usually when I am crocheting. Lol!

Hi there, Great pattern. This is what I would like to use to make a larger one for my daughters doll. Even for a newborn this would be awesome. Was wondering what you thought about adding additional sizes to the pattern for this reason? What do you think about using 2 strands of the bernat softee together with a larger hook in order to increase the size without a pattern “update” what hook size would you recommend? Thanks so much!!

When you're building up the sides with half double crochets and you chain one, are you going to put a half double crochet in that spot when you get back around to it? Or would that be adding a stitch and making your stitch marker 55 spots ahead instead of 54?

No. I don’t put stitch in that spot when I get back around. You’re correct it would add a stitch and make it 55 instead of 54.

Could you possibly make a short tutorial to give pointers on how to make spaceship a little larger. Couldn't use small hook to make doll so mine ended up being 10 inches. Thanks

You could use a larger hook for the spaceship. I would go 2 sizes larger that will help to increase its size.

Can you use a size 10 hook for this project?

Yes for sure, it will make it a little bigger but will still work if you use a 10mm size hook.

Yes it certain would work. It would end up smaller. If you want it the same size but only have the size 4 worsted weight yarn you could double strand it.

The pattern was taken down because I am no longer allowed to continue to distribute the pattern for baby yoda. I will be posting a new tutorial that will show you how to make a 7 inch doll with coat.
