What a way to start the new year - when you hit THE THING, you can skip to 0:01:55 to make it stop XD I'm editing it out now, but it might take a couple of hours to process. As it's unwatchable, I'm just saying the usual - written versions are on etsy/Patreon. Also, I'd love to show off some of these dragons in next weeks' video, so if you make one, tag me on insta or ping me on Discord! :)
Just finished off my break after crochetimg christmas presents now i have to make a dragon army and hide them everywhere in my moms house for her to find all year long 😈
Thank you for the tutorial. Mine ended up looking more like a tapir than a dragon but my daughter loves it. I did have to stitch the legs together to stop them from splaying. Took me about 5 days. My daughter kept trying to steal the "worm" that sat undecorated in the living room. I learned a lot from you. In Colorado, USA
Actually I think it's a really good tradition to have the first pattern of the year be the Lunar New Year pattern because then that gives people who want to have their projects complete in time for Lunar New Year to have the pattern in time to actually do so.
I'm the year of the rat, which always bothered me. My native spirit animal is squirrel, which fits me well. I've just had a realization that rat and squirrel are both rodents from the two systems. Perhaps there is a relationship I don't understand here. I must give this serious thought. I adore your crochet and methods. Im new to amigurumi and just learning. I tried one of your patterns over the holidays to complete failure due to still needing to learn more skills. I have not given up, just become determined to learn more basic skills and then try to move to a more advanced level. Your videos help me learn and bring me joy.
I just started crocheting in the past week and have already made a couple of your things, and I’ve been looking for dragons to attempt! Perfect timing.
My Ma and Grandma have a list of crochet projects for me right now. So I'm just scrolling through and finding different fun things to make for myself after I've finished their list. This is definitely a good one 👍
This is the exact dragon pattern that I have been looking for! I found some great patterns, but it wasn't exactly what I wanted to make and I was getting frustrated yesterday, and then you posted this today!!! Thank you!
You are by far my favorite creator! I had stopped crocheting for several years and thanks to your absolutely wonderful designs I picked it up again! Thank you for helping me remember how much I love making little adorable things. You should have a crack at a peacock spider! They're so cute with their colorful booties all up in the air dancing like no ones watching!
Today for wrapping my brain around this super cute dragon, you've certainly made your channel name with flying colours. I'll have to work this pattern on slow mode to follow along.
Congrats on 100K!! I'm not sure how your channel came across my feed in the first place -- I don't crochet, nor do I plan to learn -- but there's always something so calming about your videos that I keep watching. These long-form pattern videos are some of my favorites to have on in the background while I'm working on my own projects. Can't wait to see what you make next!
Thank goodness you’re back! I’ve missed you. I even checked last Thursday and when you didn’t pop up on my suggestions today. :) Happy you’re back at it.
This video made me decide to finally create a Mushu dragon :) Just gonna tweak some bits and pieces here and there! Tnx for the motivation and most importantly, the awesome pattern 💖 love from Sweden!
This dragon was the perfect thing to get me back to crocheting after the Christmas crochet burnout I love making dragons the fairy dragon pattern is my favorite pattern in the world but this one is coming close thank you!
I highly recommend making a Chillet tutorial from the new game Palworld that would be amazing!! 👏🥰💕💕 im a new crocheter and i want to challenge myself, LOVE your videos!!😁
Thank you for all of your hard work and patterns. I love the way you explain things, and I find it extremely valuable that you explain WHY you do certain things (eg like why you shape the way you do, or why using an invis dec is useful). So many tutorials/patterns just state to do it, but not why. Understanding why means customising this pattern or others is easier and more effective, and maybe it's just me but I always like to understand the steps rather than just blindly follow them ;)
This was so much fun to make! The way you did the spikes reminded me of a crafty intentions dragon I made before this. My zodiac is the year of the rat!
Hi, my name is Viola and I like how I always get notifications of new crocheting videos. I think when I open the RU-vid app there was a notification saying that you were on RU-vid and you were going to make a dragon so that’s why I wanted to watch your video. No one really recommended me your channel but it’s just that, it said on notifications that there was a video about you so I decided to watch it because I really like crocheting and I think crocheting is very interesting
After staring at my leg ruffles and dreading sewing them on (good news my dragon stands on 3-4 feet as I messed up the orientation on one leg so it is stepping up withthat leg) my daughter asked where they go I said on the legs she asked if they were bracelets and I responded THEY ARE NOW!
I like the pastel-y colors of the yellow dragon. Very Easter-y :D I love all your designs, I am always amazed at the creative shaping you use to get your critters into the positions and shapes you want. Every video of yours I watch gets me jumping for my hooks and yarn 😁
congrats on 100k!!! its so wonderful to see your growth, ive been here since like 15k!! also cute patternn!!!!! i wanna make it so badly but im currently prepping for a craft fair stall, so all my crocheting time has to go to that 😔 defo gunna make this after the stall tho!! super cuteee
I love your tutorials and patterns! You’re very good at explaining. Would you ever put a tutorial up for a Kirby or pikachu? And if you like Pokémon would you ever do other Nintendo related stuff, like Pikmin, or the fairy from Zelda, Mario party items? I understand if you’re not into that type of stuff or because of copyright though!
1:30-1:50 what is up wi5h the editing here today today today today Also going to try to make this the first amigarumi (of yours too) that works out for me.
I love dragons and love the one that you made in this video. I have only recently come across your videos and I love them you are so talented wish I had come across your videos sooner amazing work you create. If you haven’t made one yet could you have a go at making a pangolin as they are so cute and an endangered animal 🥰
Is it just me, or have the videos gotten a bit choppy? I know it’s not my internet bc any other video I watch is fine. But I had this too when trying to watch the Christmas videos. They like, are skippy and jumpy. In case anyone else hadn’t let you aware - it may be happening in the uploading process? But for me, it makes it difficult to watch as I have sensory sensitivity and this messes with my eyes ☹️.
You're not alone, I have issues with choppiness watching this video too, as well as with some of the Christmas ones. I notice I have no frame rate options for the video quality settings here, but there are some on the video posted after this one. It's a shame it makes this one too uncomfortable to watch, I would love to crochet along with the video
Hello, I am a hook knitting enthusiast and it was wonderful to find your channel that has beautiful content, but my English is poor and I am writing this message through an online translator. So I would like to ask you if it were possible for you to activate the subtitles for the Spanish language since this would make it easier to understand your instructions and be able to fully create your creations. Greetings from Mexico!
I messed mine up a little. Soooo it’s curvy into like a sea creature shape with a mermaid looking tail…. Soo I’m not adding back legs and I’m making it into a sea dragon thingy… and also if I do this weird shape again it would look great as a sea-horse (like a kelpie not an actual seahorse)
@@loulou1248 there's ravelry projects where you can upload pictures of how your crochet/knitting turns out. And ravelry is a great place to find more patterns
Its so small and far away i cant see whats happening. For step 3 is it a single crochet and then you move over to do another single crochet in only one loop???
Working on this now. Just wondering about the 2[3s in 1]. Did I see you do the first sc as FLO? Trying to figure out how to make it Inv like the InvDec or InvInc.
15mm is pretty close to 20mm, so might even use the same size? Failing that, the one I suggested in the other comment thread should work ok: 1. Magic ring 6sc 2. 6[inc] 3. sc, dec, picot, dec, 2sc, dec, picot, dec, sc Finish off. Let me know if that's too big/small for your eyes and we can go from there.
