I hope more people realise that writing a knitting/crochet pattern takes a lot of time and energy and that it doesn't simply write itself up just because you know how to make the end product :P It's not like you can just type up your personal knitting/crochet notes (if you have them), publish it online and call it a pattern. All the math to make your pattern as failproof as possible, making sure that things are phrased in a way that other crafters who haven't been in your head can easily understand, often having to knit up the same piece multiple times with only tiny changes to get things just right, etc. The 10-euro PDF file format doesn't do justice to all the work that goes into it!

I was so excited to make this for my cosplay until I realized the pattern is 15 dollars? That's an absurd amount for a skirt pattern when it is the same stitch over and over again throughout. I understand making a pattern is difficult, but I'm disappointed.

Looks so cute and frilly To save some time on I-cord bows, you can get a mini I-cord knitting machines. They crank out I-cord in literal minutes. Mine's cheap and it works perfectly!

Love the top worn tied in front. While I think the jorts are cute. I believe a more fitted short or skirt would be a better look to compliment the ruffles.
I was making a copycat with lilac mohair yarn and Im accidentally making a tutu and I’m trying to fix it by stopping the increase of stitches😭 and I can’t even frog it since it’s mohair yarn

OH MY GOD last time i also used the knee winding method because i ordered the yarn and id only ever worked with cakes before so i was like what the heck am i supposed to do now
Not that my opinion matters and also because i am not gunna nay someones yay.... just wanna give a quick back story or possibility on how some people may not like jorts.... when I was younger we had to cut our pants into jorts when they got shorter than our legs were long. Just another way to save money whe growing up in a multi kid house or being the first grand kid in a line of not much older than me aunts n uncles. Rarely anything new n all hand me downs that I could never make my own..... But girrrrrrrrrl Rock those jorts!

I know Jordy fluffy blueberry was one of the listed yarns but I can’t seem to find what kind of yarn that is when I’m trying to buy my own color way of that yarn, can anyone help out? Also how much of each color did you use?
I think the darker yarn could have worked better if it was like a border rather than the main part maybe ? I feel like it either gonna be so prettty or very terrible haha
