you are doing really well,, crochet is great therapy for your hand just be gentle on yourself,, i have been crocheting for a long time and have even tension but when i started this blanket a couple of days ago with caron simply soft and a 6.5mm hook it was so tight,, now i am using a 9mm hook with caron simply soft, who would have thunk it lol

Your comment about the temperatures was really interesting - I am currently living in the Czech Republic and there is no AC in apartments here. I did not know what 80 F was, so I converted it and was surprised to find that it is "only" 26 C! My flat gets up to 32 C in summer, which apparently is 89-90 F! So every day when it is only 80 F inside, I am so happy :D. But yeah I am a knitter and it is not fun to work on wool in those temperatures, I am so looking forward to autumn already :).

I’ll definitely have to wear my compression gloves more! My fingers and hands hurt so much when I crochet so I feel like those will help (because I should be wearing them 😅) I hope your hand is feeling better after surgery! Hand injuries are definitely not fun
