I just stayed at the lodge for 2 nights and it is WORTH EVERY PENNY! Shoutout to Kim at the front desk, Jason running the shuttle bus, and Daniel at Warrior restaurant - you all were so kind and made us feel like family immediately!
So cool! Glad the animals are loving their new home! I would love to visit one day. Went to Australia as a kid, loved it! Cheers from sunny Arizona! 🦎🌵🪱
I want to say that the lodge looks cool, I love to visit it, the animals really match it and they will love to live in that. 😊 nice job Australia zoo. 😊
(Sorry this comment is really long, and I felt like I wrote an essay ahaha). I just wanted to say how much the zoo has come along together. I've been a HUGE fan of the Irwins since Bindi was filming her blogs at your guys' old treehouse. I would be incredibly excited to watch Bindi the Jungle Girl. Especially the ones with the whole family! It made me super happy and watching them made my day whole. Seeing everyone happy made me happy. I remember seeing Robert in the background of the show and just hanging out with Bindi in the episodes haha. Anyways, this will probably sound cliche, but I'm so proud of how far you guys have come and I'm proud to be one of your true fans. I look up to you guys so much. I'm really hoping to stay at the lodge at some point! :) Lots of love from Perth, Western Australia
I am so thankful Australia Zoo has managed thus far to survive COVID, keeping the zoo in family hands. I find myself watching fancams of the croc shows and giving a little arm pump "Woo Hoo" when I see a full crowd. It is difficult enough to have the weight of the welfare of the animals and employees on your shoulders. Add in the weight of Steve's legacy and it's amazing Terri and the family have managed to bear that weight thus far. I am praying that weight is steadily becoming less and less, making it more and more bearable.
Just curious but wouldn’t it be harder for the emus to breathe through a sock? Does anyone know? I know very little about birds and was just curious as to how they would breathe.
So cool! I’m curious as to why you chose the animals you did for the lodge! Is it cause it’s native animals in Australia? Cheers from Boston Massachusetts!
I would love to come and visit the lodge but as long as there are snakes there I won't be there. It's nothing against you folks I just don't like snakes.
