“Please don’t grieve for Steve, he’s at peace now, but I’d like you to grieve for the animals, for the animals have lost the best friend they ever had, and so have I,” -Steve's father Bob Irwin
@@BlimberryBoi Yup, just look at how incredibly high the divorce rates are today. Women who have sex with dozens and dozens of men before they're 20 makes them jaded and unable to be in a steady relationship. They are broken, both mind and soul.
Steve Irwin was such a remarkable human being. His tragic and premature death was a tremendous loss to the entire world, but most especially to the animal kingdom.
NikeSoccerTennis Fred Rogers... new movie coming out about him staring Tom Hanks. Early childhood specialist started PBS program called Mr Rogers Neighborhood.
@@bosesebi6685 Well you're a piece of shit then. He never did anything like that to animals either so you're a liar too.. Go be a miserable troll somewhere else, moron..
@@JMac-27 yep. Even guard dogs are "nice" to me. Nice in the context as they dont see me as a threat but will still obviously bite me if a get in their property.
I've watched dozens and dozens of videos about Orangs and I've NEVER seen an adult get that close and affectionate with a human. Steve was a 1 in a million guy, a very special person!!!
The direct translation of them is "forrest people" Old colonial explorers had been suprised by these gentle souls. I think Steve knew of their reputation. He clearly was not afraid of approaching what could be a super agile killing machine. But to be looked at and quickly judged as friendly by a wild animal. A mother no less. That is unprecedented.
@Read My Name Your Gay are people not allowed to joke about shit that happened in 2006? In my opinion it's free game. I loved Steve's show. But no need to white knight a dead guy.
A truly great man , what this man done for animals is beyond words, I don’t mind admitting I cried when he died , but it’s beautiful to see his legacy is being carried on by his wonderful family, rest in peace Steve you will never be forgotten
@@donhectorsalamancaThat's a very good mindset to have. Crying is just as natural as breathing, eating, or sleeping. No one should feel like they need to hold back their tears. And if others judge them for letting their tears flow... Well, I just feel sorry that the insulters don't understand what true emotion feels like.
I spent my teenage summers staying up late into the night watching marathons of his shows on discovery. What a great human, great teacher. RIP Mr Steeve
Si estuviera vivo aún ya se hubiera terminado la cruel matanza de madres orangután y el despojo de sus crias para comercializar. STEVE PUDO HABER HECHO ESO Y MÁS!
You know what's truly beautiful, is the fact that his son is exactly like his dad. Steve is still with us in spirit and the Love for animals continues! ❤️
What an absolutely magical moment caught. She must have really felt no harm would come to her or her baby to literally cuddle Steve. I miss him dearly, as a child I loved watching him and he truly made me realize how unique and special all animals are.
I disliked PETA before that but afterwards I fucking hated them. This man has done more for animal protection and education than that dog shit organisation ever will.
PETA literally kidnaps people’s pets from their homes and euthanizes them. They’re horrible, evil, wicked people. It astonishes me that anyone would want to join that Satanic cult of an organization.
@@ripvanwinkler1548 Maybe it is just slightly touching for you, but other people may have a more intimate relationship with things. Also, psychologically spoken, crying is a good coping-mechanism. Letting emotions out is healthier than supressing them and get emotional issues later.
he was a spirit of nature incarnate, i’m convinced. his utter adoration and respect for nature could be felt in every single interaction he had with wildlife and he’ll continue being an inspiration to others with the same passion for years to come.
PETA don't actually have any care for animals, they're a bunch of virtue signalling dipshits who euthanise more healthy animals than anyone else in the US.
Will Land maybe at one time PETA was a genuinely good organization but after slowly changing into this capitalist money chasing corporation that does the biding of industries that benefit front the exploitation of animals such as the meat industry -they’ve gone to shit. Just ask old co founders of that organization that since then left the organization.
@@deathuponusalll Quit blaming capitalism. A small business owner, an entrepreneur and a homeless man on the corner collecting money are able to succeed due to capitalism. If you want to blame crony capitalism, then I can't disagree with you. But then, the problem is cronyism, not capitalism.
I don't think any of us appreciated how much of a treasure Steve was... bringing the animal kingdom and the human world together like no other. Thanks for all your gifts Steve. You are missed!
I was in hospital giving birth to my daughter, and all the news reports on the TV was announcing Steve’s death. RIP Steve, us Aussies loved you so much. I hope your doing work in heaven to help our Earthly animals still ☀️🌿🙏❤️🌍🌿
The way the mother smirked when Steve was rubbing his head on her shoulder lol that was truly a sight to behold. Almost like she was blushing and smiling at the same time.
Yes it is and they are lovely, gentle , clever animals,my favourite of the great apes! They must have very strong intuition as well for this mammy to trust Steve so much- she could sense he was safe to have her baby around!
I have also heard Orangutans referred too as the Orange Men of Borneo. Either way they are the best of us. After all we do share 97 percent of our DNA with then.
Steve was an amazing man. He truly loved these animals. He cared and it showed. He was an expert with crocs, snakes, lizards, just about anything on land. Unfortunately, he was out of his element in the ocean. All his skill, knowledge and super quick movements, that always helped him avoid injury in the past, didn’t work in the ocean. A terrible end for a good man. RIP
Just like some people are loved by children. My sister for example is always the one children come to on family gatherings. Me on the other hand? Well children kinda hate me haha
Steve cemented my belief that this isn't humanity's world anymore than it was the dinosaurs and that all life is equally given and taken...his lifes message was one of compassion but his final lesson was one of respect..he really was the best example of we all could be if we opened our eyes a little wider.
I mean to be fair, that was a similar experience to the one I had when I had the chance to get close to our closest cousins in the animal world. My local Zoo has the largest ape enclosure in the world, and I visit there fairly often because its such a calming atmosphere. I remember just the other day, I was sat in absolute shock watching a Bonobo maybe 2 feet away from me on the other side of a pane of glass using the reflection in it to locate and pull a splinter out of his lip, and I... That made something with me that I cannot quite explain. I mean you always hear that the (other) Great Apes are very human in their skills and looks, but seeing it taking place inches away in real-time is another story entirely. It profoundly impacts how you see humanity as a concept, and even apart from deeper philosophical epiphanies, in my opinion, it just causes this odd, warm, fuzzy feeling - not unlike love - when you realize that you aren't just some special individual looking at nature, but that you are, indeed, part of nature, and that you share a common ancestry and most of your genetics with these gentle giants. Very Humbling, in a good way.
The fact that Orangutan women will be a lonely widows when the child has grown up as Orangutan males are solitary beings so literally she's looking for a husband 😅
As someone that idolized him as a kid and got to meet him personally i don't think I'll ever be able to forget him, he just oozed compassion and love for all living things, we should all try and be more couscous of the environment so we don't let him down
@NPC #40249 like i said though i was a kid, and I'm sure no matter what kid they grew up idolizing someone despite what they believe in, wheather it be someone as a father figure or someone whos morals aline with yours, trust me these days i respect him more than anything but either way I'm agnostic, so to me i was really hoping this wouldn't become a religious debate of some sorts, so as much as i dislike the other guy i don't see why my first comment warranted a response when i clearly said i was kid, not everything has to be about religion, i feel like if thats what you believe then good for you but i don't know why me saying we should be trying to protect our environment and leave a smaller carbon footprint triggered something religious to come out, cause to me its like the point that we should be more mindful of our planet got lost and everyone chose to focus on something religious, this is why I'm agnostic, cause picking sides is not good to me, its either left or right, good and bad, nothing is as black and white and the picture that either side tries to understand is far broader than what anyone can paint, so while everyone is worrying about whos wrong or right the actual picture gets lost in the grey no one dares to cross into, maybe everyone needs to take a step back and reflect on whats really important, cause if we focus too much on who believes in what and whos on whos side your childrens children will be living in a wasteland, so focused on where WE go when your gone no concern about where the future generations are going, condemned to suffer for all our "sins"
Duffy D. sympathy was never just a human thing. if you havent spent enough time around animals yourself to realize this, theres plenty of studies done on large mammals documenting their cognitive abilities, which includes the ability to empathize. elephants, giraffes, horses, dolphins, monkeys, etc... give animals more credit! humans are not as smart as we think we are lol.
We will never have someone who truly loved animals this much, simply because steve was around in a time when the only reason to love animals, was to love animals. Not for clout or likes. We miss you, steve. You inspired so many of us to truly love nature and animals. Rest in Paradise 🖤
You know when Steve says ‘ I thinks I’m in love’ he really means it. To some people they’d think that is a weird concept for a human to say about an animal. But Steve really loved nature and animals on a different level. A level we all should. He was a beautiful man with a beautiful soul.
Me, too. I was shocked the day he died. I was camping and away from TV, when a friend called to give me the bad news, because she knew I was a big fan.
"The purest man who ever lived". That's one hell of a statement, and also a bizarre remark. Have you met every single human being that has ever lived??!!
This is really emotional The mother orangutan knew that Steve was such a wonderful & loving person and that’s why she allowed her baby so close to him ❤ what a beautiful memory for his family. RIP Steve literally the entire planet misses you x
I vividly recall hearing the news that day. Steve-O had innocent way of viewing beauty in all creatures.. crocs, snakes, insects.. What a tremendous loss for his family, and for the world
His voice brings back so many memories, kinda makes me cry. But it makes me happy knowing how his kids are just as full of love as he was. You were an inspiration Steve C:
My boy Steve kept me company thru countless school school nights. He taught me to have a respect for all animal life. He inspired me to give up hunting, which I finally did at the age of 22. I sold my shotgun and bought my first camera. That was the beginning of my love for wildlife photography. Thank you Steve
+LilMOMMAson I can respect your decision, and while I'm a HUGE fan of wildlife/animals, hunting is unfortunately necessary, especially when it comes to certain types of animals. For example, White-Tail Deer have to be hunted due to exploding numbers here in New England. There are soooo many WTD and because of an ever-increasing number of humans and encroachment into more lands, that is a VERY bad combination, which results in gov't officials unanimously encouraging hunting (over a finite hunting season) so that it ultimately saves the WTD and humans (from accidents, deer running out into highways, etc.). Besides, I only hunt what I plan on eating. I DETEST trophy hunting for tigers, rhinos, etc. I find the latter 100% reprehensible.
Slyest Trash although our physical bodies may turn to ash, our consciousness(energy) never dies. Energy does not die, it transforms. And that energy merges with everything that is in the cosmos✨ RIP
9 yo Army Full General Of Florida Regiment that is because unlike humans, non-human animals can read others and sense their energy and know... humans have repressed that basic ability
No one could ever bet steve. No generation before or after. He had every rational person on his side. Farmer, regular ole meat eaters, animal loves and the like. It was truly inspiring how he brought everyone from all political spectrum together. Something the modern peta movement should take notes on.
@Blindi there is a 6th sense though it's instinctual based on external ques, processed in the subconscious. It's that uneasy feeling you get around someone you get a bad vibe from, it's body language and micro facial expressions mainly but it's very real. It evolved in us to keep us alive
This man in a true LEGEND. His compassion inspired an entire generation to learn about and care about creatures they otherwise would never have known about. RIP King.
We were all angry when Steve died, we felt he made a rookie mistake but we all make mistakes and his legacy saves the lives of many of our fellow species.
@@frosty-mm9th They said that he exploited animals for our entertainment. That's a load of BS. Steve had a true heart and a love for animals, so much so that he risked his life multiple times to show the world and teach them about all its wonders, dangers, and all~
Arach instinct and chemicals...that influence exhibited behavior and movements...that can in turn be assessed as dangerous or non-threatening. So yes, you can sense it.
