Shit is funny to see the opponents pain when he’s beating them up profusely then kicking the crap out of them they must be like.. man what I got myself in to!
man his fights were exciting to watch. he was always so calculating. he didn't waste his attacks, he calculated how can he beat them with the least punches or kicks. just shows how powerful he was
Kakav borac, stalozen i skroman a ringu prava zver. Ljudina od čoveka, slušao sam ga nekoliko puta i očarao me je svojom plemenitošću. Pravi vitez, Croatian Knight...
@@hoagielamp6543 It was the nature of Pride and how they put fighters through the ringer. Just look at that mini Kumite style tournament at the end. CroCop and Barnett were fighting multiple fights in a row that night before getting to each other. That's unheard of nowadays in Western fight leagues. Makes me wonder how the hell anyone has ever gotten through the actual Kumite 100-man tournaments. That's got to require insane amounts of endurance. That's probably why only three people have completed it.
@@Nukerunin Not to take away from what they did, but they didn't really have "multiple fights before getting to each other", they had one fight each before that. Mirko vs Silva and Barnett vs Nogueira. Barnett went 2 rounds and Mirko finished Silva in the first. So in terms of minutes of fighting they didn't fight more than a normal 3 round fight, they just got several hours of rest between rounds ;)
on that tournament he was unbeatable, crazy fast and crazy sure in his skills, also full of horse meat of course. That is why he was a shadow of himself in the ufc. None of the less, he was the most feared fighter in the world at that time. Sometimes i imagine what he could accomplish at a good training camp instead of hes basement.
@@karlanal1 when cro cop fought in ufc everyone was on steroids there so that is not the reason why cro cop had a bad run there. There are several reasons, one of them are 7 knee surgeries and he head some freak injuries, furthermore he did not have as same approach as some younger lions did. However, he did came back with 9 straight wins in late stage of his career. He is the pride gp champ, k1 gp champ and rizin gp champ. Most finishes in ufc/pride/wec/strikeforce history, most headkick kos.
Karl Anal you are right. Out of all these freaks cro crop was the most bad ass. They were on different juice in Japan. These guys could throw bombs and not tire. Their pace changed in ufc.
Mirko a beast!!croatian warrior and proud..he truly putted our nation on the world fighting map,our very young nation in 96,he is our hero..loved those years in his prime.his roundkicks where no joke awesome guy in and out of ring, allways calm, respectfull and fair
what a fighter...power, technique and , most charming, he was a gentleman on the ring, never arrogant or unfair . At that time mma fights were entertaining , every fighters got their style and the show level was so high even if the average "level" of the fighters was lower than today... Damn i miss those old times and those old personalities...
That is PRIDE at it's best! What a legend! Sweet editing, Predator and Guns N Roses are just the cherry on the cake! A lot of UFC fans never realized that Fedor and CroCop definitely were top 5 of all time in their prime ! The fact that decent fighters try to score one single head kick knockout in their whole career and CroCop can fill over 10min of the best ones ever taken, is just ridiculous! So great to see fight fans from all over the world in the comments - Croatia, Russia, Japan, Brazil etc. etc.... Greetz from Germany!
Cro Cop is the best fighter I ever saw ...Kickboxing and MMA just insanely talented guy and he was always mentally superior to his competition. Never got too high and cocky and kept a level head. Just AWESOME!
fedor seemed to be able to block his kicks very easily, just stand on one foot and lift the knee up whilst keeping head protected, not pretty but seems to work
Cro cop. Was so fast in his prime he was the first striker to reverse the wrestler/ jiu jitsu domination in mma elite level striking and power, amazing sprawl and tough as nails
Cro Cop you will always be the best in my book.God help the UFC if you would have arrived in your prime. You are the best you give me strength and hope against all odds.
Something people probably don't know, is many of this fights were THE SAME DAY, a couple of hours after each other........in PRIME you had the whole event in one single night, 4° finals, semis and final.
Naj bolji borac svih vremena, nikad vise ne rodi se ovakav stroj od covjeka, nismo niti svijesni kakvoga borca imamo u Hr da se cijeli svijet postidi,Mirko hvala ti na svemu
The deadly thing about his left kick is when he start his launch, it looks like it's targeting the midsection. Then, before you know it, "WHAP!!" right upside the skull and cue the birds.
Original “natural born killer”! The legendary Mirko Cro Cop !🙏🏻💎💪🏻👑🗽 🇽🇰 🇺🇸 ! When people asks if he is “hall of famer” I tell them HE IS hall of fame himself! Credit to this editing and great music ! 🙏🏻💪🏻
