Absolutely amazing quality O gauge model layout. The station is out of this world, particularly like the way the canopy supports stand straight and plumb, a rare achievement on most model railroads I have seen. Thank you for taking the time to record, edit and post, it is appreciated.
Wonderful. Those magnificent 0-8-0 goods engines epitomise the time when Britain was the workshop of the world and goods were produced. Now we have office blocks full of people looking at computer screens. Crook Street station itself is beautiful, and the sight of a passenger train coasting in is pure magic. Deansgate yard and the the route to it are particularly atmospheric and superbly modelled.
I’m one of those people looking at computer screens. I’ve help develop electronic devices for millions and millions of homes around the world. Computers are just tools. You don’t make money making things you make money designing and developing things. Take ARM, one of the UKs most successful companies. The ARM processor is in literally billions of devices [1] but they never make a single one. That’s not where the money is. They design them and sell the designs. Get a little bit for each one used in licensing fees. [1] including that DCC decoder that loco.
Yet another gorgeous video as usual. Hope you don't mind me asking an operational question out of interest, did trip workings not require a Brake Van ?
I've had some thoughts on smoke in certain areas. Slo-mo might be a problem though, I'd have to speed up the trains during filming so they don't come out in slo-mo too.
