Crooked Arrows Team Spotlight - The Cradle 

I started getting interested in Native Americans, their culture and history when I was a kid. I've been into lacrosse since I was in HS so this movie was so cool to see. I loved the lacrosse shots but really appreciated the scenes where the culture was brought out. When Cooked Arrow talks about the spirit being in the shaft (stick) I was really happy. I've always used an all wood stick with a leather pocket because I've always felt it was 'alive' unlike the metal shafts/plastic heads

And now to think three of the cast members on the team comprise the three attackmen in the top offence in college lacrosse, and two of them now hold the record for most points in a single season. Good luck vs Notre Dame this weekend Albany!!

They should make a sequel

thank you for making lacrosse, it opened my eyes and heart in ways i never dreamt of. from my leadership skills to academics. it gave me the chance to be someone else than someone who participates in baseball or other common sports.

What I read on wikipedia is the the traditional sticks (they curve at the top but don't connect again) look like a bishop's crosse so they called it Lacrosse.

I recently found out my cousin's friends were in this film and my aunt sang some music in the movie also.

The kid on my team who won most improved just moved here from sweden. And the french named it lacrosse after they stole the game from the native americans in the 1500s and banned them from playing it and called it lacrosse because they thought the sticks looked like crosses. The native americans originally called it the "creator's game"

If im only 15% Native American Cherokee, will it be wrong to proudly say i am Native American? I not going to brag about it but proudly say "Yes" if they ask. Is it disrespectful because i am not full blooded to say i am Native American? PLEASE someone answer

it would be more appropriate to say you have some native american in you but just because your great, great, great, *~princess~* grandma was native american that doesnt make you native american & that goes for any other ethnicity. i hope that makes sense?
