They know the guys driving these cars have money it’s literally a cash grab. They have no proof they were speeding and they got a few hundred from each of them and try to act all nice “we’re giving you the least ticket we can” wrong. They least they can do is literally not give you a ticket and say thanks for stopping please slow down have a good day. They want that money.

i am an LEO. It always pisses me off seeing these officers doing this BS. I always treat folks i pull over (when I do ) just like it was me or my wife in the car. I hope they fought this ticket and showed the video. If I am running RADAR and I can't get a lock on a vehicle, then I don't do what they did. That was some BS tickets.But at least the officer was nice.

at least the cops were extremely nice about everything. if they had to give out tickets I think no seatbelt or something extra stupid would have been more fair. pretty sure they have some new radar system that the detectors cant pick up. at least I think I've heard about that

There are decent law enforcement officers all over the world. I ‘undertook’, ‘passed in the wrong lane’ and got pulled by an unmarked who was sitting 3 cars back, he saw me swap lanes and ‘fly by’ the cars in front. These idiots were ‘brake testing’ people in the overtaking lane, with no traffic in front of them and no traffic in the two other lanes. I got bored and decided to change lane the next time the ‘dipshit’ hit the brakes. In all fairness I did hit 140mph in a 70 when the guy who was brake testing decided to ‘try and stop me undertaking’. The ‘LEO’ in question pulled me over 5-10 miles down the road and explained what he had seen, I was looking at an instant ban (12 months minimum in the uk) and possible prison sentence (under taking can be considered as reckless, life endangering, and a friend of mine did 3 months for 130mph, I was worried), when I explained what actually happened, he went back to his car and watched the video footage back. He apologised for not seeing the ‘dipshit’ causing the danger to everyone, but still gave me a ticket, but only for 85mph. So in conclusion, he had evidence I had committed a much worse traffic offence, but he checked his video and worked out I wasn’t the one to punish too much. I guess because he would have done the same, why sit behind some dipshit who is going to cause an accident? It’s better for everyone if that dipshit is behind you and you are not caught up in it.

Totally have to agree with Llama. Speeding tickets isn't all that serious. That said if it where something a little more serious than I would totally recommend them. They did an amazing job when I got a reckless driving ticket a few months ago

Llama Cebu A lot of times speeding tickets don’t just have a fine, you get points on your license, and your insurance rates go up. If you get it reduced, it’s much better all around, even if you have to pay for a lawyer.

Heh... sounds like East Texas.. I got a BS speeding ticket in NOVEMBER 2019 for 22 over. I have my dashcam footage, showing I was doing 44 in a 45..... I had to go back to texas in March, to say Not guilty... and they were all offended that I did not just pay the 460 dollar ticket. Said I would have court in June.... Now... I am looking at not going to see an actual judge until SEPTEMBER (at the earliest) nearly a year to see a judge for a traffic ticket.. Look up Brownsboro Texas... Traffic scam central.

I would hope all these tickets were fought and have the officer explain why he issued the tickets when he didn't know how fast anybody was going. If he testifies he knows how fast an object is going visually, he should be called out in court for that stupidity. An officer tried that once with me, telling me he can tell how fast a car is going visually. I said to him, "You are telling me you can do something that is impossible to do, right"? At that point he said Have a nice day, and I left.

Long story short, he called me literally 5min after I got home and I didn't get back home until it was time to sleep for the next day. I've gotten about 7-8 tickets over the 15 years I've been driving, my insurance has surprisingly never gone up. Local sheriffs/police are pretty cool, the only issues I've had were with state troopers. Got my first ticket by a trooper at 15 on a four wheeler, caused my license to be suspended for 6 months. Troopers seem to have a stick up their ass generally, but I guess that makes sense because 90% of their job consists of traffic crap.

Guys i used off the record in NJ , not tryna pump it or anything but I got a bullshit ticket for improper passing on the right (5 point ticket in NJ, and the dude in front of me signaled left, veered towards the left side of the road, and then i passed - something completely legal btw) the lawyer they found me legit knew the prosecutor and the judge and got it down to no points and a non moving violation, i paid $250 for the lawyer and the charge was like $40 or something. Legitimately did NOT expect 0 points nor that outcome. The courts systems are fucking corrupt, and thankfully offtherecord made it much more fair.

I live in NC.. Go to The Gap all the time on my GSXR.. That being said the reason why your radar detector didn't go off is he was prob shooting laser.. When the NCSHP sits on the over passes they are mostly shooting laser.. They got me before with it. My Cobra pics up 7 lasers and it never went off. Apparently they use a different laser then my detector picks up.. Very familiar with the area you were in.. Looks like the Blue Ridge Express between Cherokee and Robinsville.. They're up that way in forces trying to make revenue for NC especially from out of staters cause your likely to not come back , they hope you'll just pay it off..

Yeah, it was kinda messy, but did they ever hear if there was or wasn't radar? That would determine a lot of things, including if the police officers thought this group of cars was the same that was called in that morning. And even if they were going the speed limit theres no way for the police to tell if they were a different group, because they could have slowed down before they got involved with the police. I'm not justifying the cop's actions because there was no REAL way to prove anything if there was no radar involved but I do agree with what he says, I've seen these guys before in other videos speeding around like crazy, and I know how easily it is to go over the speed limit. I find myself constantly going over without noticing. These guys own faster cars than me, but for sure they wouldn't have been going at a granny's pace all morning.

I’ve been pulled over once in my life but I’m only 18 so it’s not much. I got 4 tickets(somehow) I shoulda got more. I knew I was gonna get caught and knew I was gonna go to jail but I just wanted to get my whip home cause I was about 2 mins away. But I had such a head start that he was never really behind me, not until I was 10 seconds away from my crib, so with that gap he didn’t register that I was actually running from him😂 and I played a 1000iq play and turned on my blinkers. Not for long but they were on. So I got outta that. He gave me 4 tickets, no arrest, but I had a couple court dates. Now mind you I was 17, no license, dead tag, no insurance, just a project car I was building at the time. Got criminal speeding, reckless driving, stolen tag, and no license. I went to court, too severe so it was an auto 2nd court date. Went to that, public defender talked to me and I zoned out, didn’t know what to do, I was first to go up so I didn’t get to see what other people do. Got up there, judge was yappin but I already zoned out by this point, then I come back to life and notice that everyone is silent and lookin at me. Out of all my time in court I said just one word.... “Guilty” then like a movie, boom! “All charges dropped, $25 fine” and as I said before I didn’t have license so I didn’t have a license for points to go onto. Still got a clean record. 😂😂😂

Never admit ANYTHING. Never say alright when an officer says: "You okay with that". Never!!

My mom got a reckless ticket when it wasn’t even her car that was flying it was someone else until it got dismissed the cop saw the same color car and pulled her over

Thank God for exploiting crooked law enforcement, so many of them abuse their limited power and it’s sickening. People like them are some of the lowest quality human beings on this earth.
