This song is my sole connection and it is the biggest mental link to Part2 and the excitement I felt filling me for the years before snd the hope the release that game gave me through rough times
I actually didn't know Crooked Still before TLOU Part II . Now I really like to listen to this group's music stuffs but I don't know why does Crooked Still has few works and of course it's not famous at all !?
@@traviskarnes6825 Crooked Still agreed to have their songs featured in the game and it's giving them more exposure than your grumpy hipster ass could ever have dreamed. Look at the interview Shawn James gave about the exposure The Last of Us gave him and how grateful he is for it. He finds it amazing that a song that he believed was very unlikely to be one of his popular songs is now the most popular song shows that he doesn't have to play catchier tunes for people to listen. And boy are people listening, through the back catalogue of albums and all. I imagine it's the same for Crooked Still. As a fan, don't you want a favorite band to be loved by more people?
People like you are the reason smaller artists don't get as much exposure. People saw a game trailer and loved a mere 10 seconds of a song so much that they sought out the band. The more people who get into their music, the better. I imagine it's good for the band financially too. Quit gatekeeping and grow up
