Bro, this one was great but that damn song was THE SHIT. I'll never forget seeing that first scene from Spike Lee's movie "Clockers" when Mekhi Phifer walked up with it playing in the background as a kid. One of my all time favorite records, I feel like I'M from Brooklyn when I hear that shit lol!

Masta Ace isn’t from Wu Tang. He was a solo artist aligned with the Juice Crew in the 1980s and who continues to make great music to this day. He’s a pioneer in hip hop and a major influence on many emcees, particularly Eminem.

There's two versions. Early version was Special Ed Masta Ace and Buckshot. For the film Crooklyn. 2nd version out in 95. Was Chubb Rock Jeru da Damaja and OC. Produced by DJ Premier for the Spike Lee film Clockers. There's a 3rd Styles P and Ghostface too.

ACE's final verse was more epic than you think. This song is from the soundtrack of the Spike Lee movie Crooklyn which takes place in the 70's. Ace references several classic TV shows from the era. The only character out of place was Mr. T, who didn't start rapping until the '80s.

Masta Ace-Good ol love Ace is a legend there’s plenty of material but I would start with Good ol love that’s an all timer, then after Return of the crooklyn dodgers featuring Jeru, Chubb Rock and OC you got to do a few from OC from the ditc crew, man is criminally underrated he got a couple classics under his belt and one of the few who hasn’t lost a step to this day
