Anyone still missing this band in 2022? The drummer, the vocals, the huge variation in tempo and power. They were onto something and I don't know what happened.

This album came out of nowhere for me. Absolutely incredible record. One of my favorites in a very long time.

The lyrics are so unreal... I'll remain the peaceful days.... She brought me peace and harmony, I was too miserable to see it... She left and now I see the peace she "let in" and now I'm remaining the peaceful days, and I can't feel her here... I love this song.

I miss you guys so much. Most people, understandably so, wish you'd come back and make another album, especially since Are We All the Same Distance Apart was such a banger. It showed you guys were gonna tighten up your sound and really evolve it more and more. But alas too much time has passed and I'm sure all the gentlemen in the band have moved on to different things in their individual lives. So with that, instead of demanding a return as I might've not too long ago, I just want to express my sincerest gratitude for all the music you guys made up until that last album. They will always be a time capsule for a time in my life where I was struggling a lot and you guys helped me pull through. Whether you return or not, your discography will always stand as a testament to your greatness and the comfort ya'll provided for me in my toughest years. 9 years later life is looking up and I can and will always look back on that hurting kid I was back then with fondness and compassion.

Absence of harsh vocals is obviously just a reflection of where he is as a person. Old Crooks songs where very angry and about pain and suffering so that's why the singer screamed. This song is about him finally discovering love and peace so therefore he no longer feels the need to shout at the world.

Love that this drummer just does his thing and play original and complex bits, not often you see that! Song is amazing too

A lot more in the vein of Nevermore than the newer stuff has been, really like it.
