Thanks for sharing , I built a 2240 into a carbine and then added a PCP tube to the mix . I really like the Ratcatcher it is a nice platform to play with .
@@jonwoodhousea.k.a.pistolcr3943 and vice versa Thanks man . I just saw a cool video about polishing the inside of the barrel with car wax or polishing compound. I decided to get some micro diamond paste to polish my barrel with , I will post when my diamond paste come in . The video I watched basically said the difference between a Lothar barrel and a crosman is the Lothar is polished to a high degree taking out as many of the Mico imperfections as possible and that we can accurize our guns by fully cleaning then polishing , I figure its worth a try plus it's fun .
@@jonwoodhousea.k.a.pistolcr3943 you should look up Dr Russ Airguns , his latest video about keeping your guns out of the repair shop has tid bits about cleaning and polishing your airgun barrel his idea about using polishing compounds to get rid of micro imperfections and what ot actually mean when we say a riffle needs to be leaded in or why riffles accurize themselves after 500 shots is very informative it sparked ideas for me and I used some mothers car wax it clearly made a difference, this was all after cleaning the factory gunk out , this guy gave me lots of ideas like using diamond lapping spray or micro diamond paste . 100,000 grit micro diamond paste on the way .
@MrChrisfrew I removed the fore stock, marked where the sling swivel stud was going, made a hole slightly smaller than the stud, screwed it in and epoxy d it in place. The bipod I used attaches with a sling swivel stud.
Hi Jon this old George of northern California USA I have 2250xl with long barrel with grab mag they a lot fun also 2240 &2300 all great min rife .God bless
Depends on where you live. Here in the UK, as it is technically a pistol, we are limited to 5 foot pounds, so it is definitely NOT suitable for anything other than very close quarters rat shooting.
@@jonwoodhousea.k.a.pistolcr3943 I was wondering about this Is it classed as a rifle or a pistol. If it's classed as a pistol you would not be allowed to own one that is putting out 8 flb of energy.
Hi jon i got 24 " barrel on my 2250xl and i am going to install and and i got new valve that i am going to modify and grav- mag also i am go to install i will let you know the fps i get. Have great day .

Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately I find it very difficult to do much filming of actual shooting since I had 2 strokes. (The weather isn't helping either). I've just looked at your channel and see that you have no videos.- why not make some and post them yourself?
@@jonwoodhousea.k.a.pistolcr3943 Tks Jon good job 👍 I think that version you have there equipped in that configuration is one well thought out rig . Out off all the pellet guns out there I think Crosman 1322 in any configuration is one of the best at any price. That said the gun can back it up. A must have with the pump version (no co2 required)if it becomes scarce is recommended.
