I have a lefty and it is awesome! the main reason for it to only have one post is that it is a lot lighter. But everything about it is awesome, and frankly I have never seen a broken one

Riding in winter and cold, early spring has its good sides too :) And u can think "ha, I'm a cycling badass, I ride even in winter, like noone else from my neighbourhood " :D Riding in snow is very good in improving riding skills too :)

It's called the Cannondale Lefty and it's been out for at least 5 years. People have them on all levels of mountain bikes.

its actually because if you have 2 forks, they fight each other on the compression and depression, but if you have a single fork "lefty" there's nothing for it to battle with and flows smoother over bumps

He is riding a bike From Cannondale. Their nice cross country bikes use what is called a "Lefty fork", its patented only to Cannondale and is supposed to be stiffer and lighter.

Crazy terrain and he's riding a hardtail and doesn't look to have mucgh uptravel in the front fork.. He obviously knows what he's doing though :-)

You can ridding in the winter... and fall... If anything I say hurry up fall and winter, I live in the mountains and I prefer a muddy/snowy/slippery ride over a smooth ride with the fucking sun beating down on me.

I really want to MTB, but i live in Texas and there is no where to do that here. Even if you make your own trail you could wipe-out and end up in a cactus. I also have no money or time to travel. How can i do it?!
