Today we have a complete 6x6. Still lots to do. But it is together. Fun fully involved build. Not sure I would do another one though. Lol. Hope y’all enjoy the video.
It looks great. I really like the cross military trucks. I am finishing up the MC6, and have an MC8 in the wings I agree with you on the wiring. My comments while trying to mount the harness under the cab as they showed were a lot more colorful. I could not get it to fit! There us a compartment behind the cab. So I added to the wires and mounted the terminal block in there. You need to have hands the size of a 5yr old to reach in the cab for mounting.
lol hands of a 5yr old that good. I am debating about building another cross hydraulic construction cross over build. Im liking the stance of this truck. how's the suspension similar to the hc6? good looking truck nice explainng of the build..
@@thatsmyrc the rear axles on both the MC6 and MC8 have the coil over shocks. The front on the MC8 looks like there are 2 axles with a link between them to connect the steering portion. When I did the MC6 I had jumped in just following the manual. I've learned my lesson though. As far as the wiring I'm going to "test fit" everything before I start permanently mounting any of it. It looks like I'll have the same issue so if I need to extend the wiring I'll do it well before I try to mount the cab
Massive!!! Cody, the Thin STYRENE Cement works by melting the surfaces together. ABS doesn't work that way... Still, you did a GREAT job of fixing the situation, without ruining anything!! 👌👍👍
Yep. The thin stuff stated it was for abs as well. But this thick stuff was awesome. My biggest fear was having to glue painted pieces. But seems the thick stuff doesnt care. Lol.
Yeah. Last year at uste i drove it for about 5 minutes. Didnt have much time to hit a trail. Its for sure a different drive than im used to. But still pretty fun.
Hey bud can you tell me the width and length of the cargo bed? I am debating about building this kit and making it into a hydraulic dum truck. I did that to my hc6 and I was thinking about doing the same to this. My other option is the 32lb tc6 dump truck. Yet of what Ive seen there is a lot of stuff going on in between the chassis rails so not sure if I can make a hydraulic kit work. Thats a thousand dollar gamble if I was to do so.
