To the people confused about the October 26 thing, just know that if your A account (main account) is linked to your EA and you make a B account under the same EA ID after October 26, you will still be able to merge the stuff from the A account to the B account BUT you don't keep anything you gained from the B account from its time of creation after October 26.

This genuinely helped me to understand why i wasn't getting the message for cross progression, thanks guy

It’s good to see the devs finally releasing a so waited feature, however, my only issue with it, is that it’s still in fact not really here, and I have waited long enough to don’t care anymore about the game, after all it just took them the time it took me to graduate from high school quit the game when I graduated and almost finish university… sorry for the burn out I just needed to externalize my thoughts about it.

Update: Respawn have confirmed that it will be phased over the coming weeks. So if you still haven't had the message notification and can't see cross progression on your accounts, give it some time and keep a look out.

For those with questions: This is the message direct from EA: ⚠ **IMPORTANT: Do NOT unlink your accounts!** || || ⚠ Do **NOT** unlink your account from your original EA account - this will **remove** all progress. ❌ Have two different EA accounts? Do not try to unlink/relink a different Xbox/PSN account - this will remove all progress. ❌ Xbox made you use an outlook account to sign up and you have a different EA account now? Do not unlink, your progress is on your old EA account with the outlook e-mail. You will lose all progress if you unlink. ✅ Using the same EA account on all platforms: This allows cross-progress between platforms. **Wait for the in-game prompt coming in the next days.**

What if you had the two accounts for a while (PS & PC), but changed the email address to put both accounts under the same EA account?

Merged my steam and psn to one ea account, fired up the game from steam and im now level 1 👍

GUY HE SAID ACC MADE AFTER OCT 26 ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO MERGE THIS IS MIS INFOMATION. it only means that ANY PROGRESS MADE ON ANY ACC AFTER OCT 26 WILL NOT MERGE. so u can make a new steam acc link to ur EA acc thats link to xbox and wait to merge to get ur xbox stuff on pc BUT any loot box or coins u get on the new steam acc will not merge

Bruh I just made a new account so I could use cross progression and I can’t use it💀

for some people confused if you want to merge your xbox account to pc simply make sure that your xbox account is linked to your current ea id that also has your current pc linked to that ea id aswell that being via steam or origin. also you do not need to have them under the same email they just have to be on the same ea id account

EA blows a fat load here. I've been using an account on Steam for about a month now (new to PC) when I realized it wasn't under the same EA account after they announced incoming cross progression update, I made a new account under the same EA account. But now since it was made after the 26th, I won't ever live to see my accounts merged. So I'm losing out on a 5000+ hour account on PS that has about $1000 or more worth of items and purchases. EA thinks this is a good idea, the same way they didn't think everyone would abuse retaining their shield upon respawn in rank.

So, I just made my pc account today so I could merge it with my nintendo account... can I not merge since I didn't make the pc account before October 26?

Exactly that’s why every shards I got I got a different heirloom I didn’t already have on my original account

People say stats don't carry over but no one has said specifically if damage badges carry over or not?

I have an ea account where I linked one account from the 3 different consoles, all of them are linked to the same account with a different email, but one of them has all the cosmetics I want and need to play in another consoles. My question is, with this done, could I play with this main account in every platform even tho they nave not the same email and ID? To be more clear, would this cross progression work like, for example, the one in Fortnite does?

Question. I kept my steam and Xbox accounts on separate EA accounts. I don’t care about my steam account as I barely played, however I would still like to now bring my Xbox account to steam via unlinking the account I made and linking it to the EA account associated with my Xbox account, will it merge?

So It has to be the same email for the two platforms your trying to merge or It wont work? My main platform on pc is under a different EA account than my original Xbox EA account, so It seems like for people like me that have differing EA accounts across different platforms are screwed?

Does it merge heirlooms? Like let’s say u have an heirloom on pc but not on Xbox will I have that heirloom once it’s merged and vice versa?? Or if I have 2 different heirloom on both accounts will I have them both after the merge ?
