I have crossed that line before I heard this song.. =) It's a pretty awesome song, matches some of what I was thinking. I can't keep all this joy to myself, I'm talking to people at my school, work, and church! Start reading Acts, continue and you'll see why!
"Im gonna run like I've got the cops on my tail" I absolutely love that line. xD My friend and I have been out walking at night before and have run from cops ourselves. We felt all cool and stuff till we realized it was before curfew. haha it was still something awesome to remember :D and we ran FAST. :O
Yeah! Man, the lord Vishnu is so great to have provided us with thought and capabilities as we have, things like this beautiful song wouldn't exist otherwise What a great world the gods have made!
No kidding! it's a true story! I'm not in choir but all my friends are so I get some interesting stories from them and they get the weird band stories from me. We both win! :)
I agree. You can believe what you want to believe, but that doesn't mean you have to announce it out loud and brag about it or tell other people what they believe is wrong. Just enjoy the music!!!!
"if we did that, others would miss out on this wonderful thing we have!" very true. It's your responsibility as a christian to try and introduce others to the lord. However, there is a time and place for everything, and a song where people are trying to listen and enjoy (possibly empathize or relate to the lyrics) is most certainly not the time to bring up religious beliefs -.- (even if the artist wrote the song referring to god, that doesn't mean it must be interpreted that way.)
I did say essentially. Superchic[k] is an open Christian band. And despite the fact that there music is more towards how modern Christians show represent themselves, it is Christian music. "Everyone dies but not everyone lives" is a reference to living life towards Christ, but not living for him is like not living at all. According to the song. Also, "Why we're all wearing the emperor's clothes" is a reference to people changing their belief to what people in power say it should be.
Totally going to cross that line! Speak up for Jesus Christ christians of this crazy world! Bring your Bibles to school, even if it's against the rules!
+Daniel Kroeger No, don't shoot it up, you'll just get caught and put in jail or death sentence, and others would run it. What you do is wait until night, have a get away vehicle that's fast, a hide out spot, plant bombs there, and blow it up. No one gets killed, no one gets caught, and that place will be no more. Also tap into the blocks security cameras and shut it down, then they can't see who did it. Just for face recognition, where a motorcycle helmet that's popular, you can still see but they won't. That's how u spark Rebellion with the chance of igniting the whole nation.
They only played a bit, but, between my spies whom help me spread peace and wellbeing to the underdog and that song there is actualy an improvment in my school.
"I'm gonna run like I've got the cops on my tail! I'm gonna live my life like I'm out on bail! I'm gonna be up front, Gonna blaze the trail! I'm gonna! I'm gonna! I'm gonna! I'm gonna Cross That Line!!" This is what I seriously need to do, I need to loosen up sometimes.
Things you can't argue about in public: 1. Religion 2. Politics 3. What flavor of snow cones you like. (Not kidding some friends of mine who're in choir said two kids nearly got in a fist fight over what flavor of snow cone was best.)
@DarkSun71 UR DAMN RIGHT! superchick fans, there are just so many and we r all so awesome that any one who tried would really have NO CHANCE! what so ever!
sound like he needs some superchick music. He'll be happier if he listens to their songs :D Or... Get Batman to keep an eye on him. That was fun. Thanks!
Since this is a free country people are intiltled to there own opinion, but that doesn't mean you should push your belifes on people. God gives you the choice, allow people to have a choice. Theres a diffrence between preaching and pushing.
no, "Everyone dies but not everyone lives" means that every one lives a life and then dies, but not everyone LIVES their life, meaning they never travel, never cause a fuss, and don't have "a life" and "surely somebody knows why we're all wearing the emperor's clothes" is a reference to the story "the naked emperor" which if you're familiar with, look it up it means no one questioning the situation their in, just assuming that whoever started it knew what they were doing and going along with it
girl who had not heard about the "magical" robes shouts "The Emperor is naked!" And everyone else realizes it to... This humiliates the Emperor but he can't do anything about it.
