Great hunt, I just grabbed myself a Kodiak Bear recently with a crossbow, although with the basic crossbow and at one point it seemed that bear was invincible.

The devs haven’t added anything new to Hunting Sim 2, I just like the game and I love those videos. And to be honest, I love any video you make no matter what game you’re playing.

I really think a spotting scope would benefit this game greatly. With people like me that love long range hunts, sometimes it is hard to tell what you are looking at with the massive render distance.

If you see more than 3 blood tracks, it has been mortally wounded. Only 3 tracks, the animal has survived. I have seen this consistently. Btw the immersion in this game is awesome!

that might be a difficulty level/hit location thing. I have had several tracks that can go on for a couple hundred yards and the animal is not dead.

19:30 that happens when a weapon is blocked by a tree. just scope in with a weapon, and it will fix everything

no, I know that, and it's nice a message pops up now so you do not question the function of the mouse/controller. the problem is when either my weapon is "blocked" by an invisible tree, or when the weapon is allowed but all accessories are "blocked" without the message, which only started happening as of the last update.

Why don't you use camera mode as a short range drone, you can choose to pause or not..

I use MP for the Alaska vids, since you cant choose character in single player and as an aid for the camera. Yes you can choose to pause or not in single player, but it will default a time change to noon and will only allow you to set the time to the nearest hour, which can cause lighting and shadows mismatch. in MP however it will leave the time alone, allowing for more continuity in the b-camera shots. So here, I am using the camera as more of an analog to a hunter bringing a go-pro with a collapsible tripod. Lastly, I prefer not to use the camera as a hunting aid since ranger difficulty is supposed to be realistic and in reality a drone at that low of altitude would spook game.
