Bro great video on the belly band but you got me with your last minute and a half about taking care of yourself both physically and mentally. That to me was the best thing that you could have said. If you are not physically and mentally well then you cannot be as proficient in anything you do including protecting yourself with or without a firearm. Thank you brother.
Great setup if you don't have a larger body type. Maxim stretched length they offer is 47". My belly is 44, I wasn't comfortable to only have 3" to go over and secure the holster. I ordered a modular holster for my 43x and tried with my existing Comort Tac belly band which is longer and it works great. I did however sew a couple of pieces of 4" velcro in places to position it how I wanted it. For those who think they need to, this also gives you the option of carrying a second firearm in the original pocket.
Just ordered one of these can't wait to try it out. My current bellyband doesn't have an actual holster so I'm always worried about carrying with one in the chamber
I just ordered this kit because it was on sale and the entire kit with holster was cheaper than most holsters alone. I can use the holster in my carry bag as well.
Hey Ti, love your reviews and your enthusiasm. All reviews for IWB holsters including yours do a great job showing the carry and draw of a firearm while standing but nobody does a review of how each works while sitting, in a vehicle or otherwise. I’d like to hear your thoughts about wearing this CB V2 belly band appendix while sitting. THANKS!
Appreciate your vid and it has helped me make up my mind on purchasing this. I've had a hard time finding a holster for my Springfield XD Mod 2 which has a Streamlite TLR-6. Not many companies make anything for it. This company does. Am a new subscriber as well. Once again...Appreciate what you do and keep the Dad Advice coming.
What am I doing wrong with this belly band? The grip sticks out far and not only prints like crazy, but my shirt gets caught on the protruding grip while trying to drawer
Have the original ICE that Rob partnered with CB on... then I have version 1 of this...have this one now as I like the upgrades in theory. In practice... my Crossbreed Liberty band and my Supertuck are just cake for me when I need to carry IWB bit not deep. (Smartcarry gets to nod most days... deep is a must for work and a lot of other times for me. That said... LOVE my Crossbreeds...have gifted about 6 of them to family members too. Awesome company who stands for the right things and makes incredible products.
I’ve moved on from them unfortunately, I like their holster but they are a dis-honest company. At least their marketing department is dishonest and sneaky
If you've never tried a 3-speed holster I would highly recommend you do. It's been my go-to holster for when I'm not wearing a belt or need to deeply conceal a firearm for almost a decade now. I've been wanting to try the Crossbreed one to compare it to the 3-speed. After watching your review I am going to pick one up and see how it stacks up.
@Tiberious Gib I actually have one for the p365 that I don't use because I traded it in when I got the p365xl. If you want it I'll find it and send it over to you.
Just purchased for my Taurus g3c t.o.r.o. and my glock 19. Was wondering about sizing. The site recommended adding 3" so I went with a medium and a large just to play it safe.
Would this be a decent holster for everyday carry or would it wear out quickly.... honestly the band is cheap enough to buy another if it wears out in a year
This dude looks like the villain from Sin City and Ryze from League of Legends at the same time. EDIT: it was also a good review. Keep up the good work. 👍
What size did you order? Their site says to add 3-4 inches to what you measured for your waist and order it accordingly. I have a 33” waist, so add 3-4” puts me at 36-37. This is the long end of their small and short end of their medium.
Hi, Between this Band from CrossBreed and the Bra Holster from Flashbangs witch one you recommend, for a Woman who is always with her 3 years old. I always carry on my purse but I need something that I can have quick access to my S&W MP Shield. Thanks
What would you recommend for a edc appendix hellcat pro with optic. I am considering this, I thought of belt system but firearms not allowed at work and don’t want anyone to see it if I use the toilet. Also what is your opinion of vanish belly band ads you see on RU-vid?
I know you reviewed the sticky belly band holster in the past. Which one did you find most comfortable? I tend to wear my belly band high on my torso (under my chest) with the gun mounted 2-3 o’clock (strong side) ….I fear that the crossbreed kydex would be too bulky for this. Yet I’m concerned about the sticky holster falling out. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated
I found the crossbreed the most comfy but that could be because I am used to carrying a kydex appendix holster. For your situation the sticky holster might make more sense
I bought the sticky holster and belly band, because I carry exactly like you (under chest @2oclock) it’s very comfortable but with heavy excercise I need to replace the holster with one that has a clip. The gun never fell out, but it definitely shifted downwards
Maybe I missed it but looks like you were still wearing a belt while using the band? Curious how sturdy the band is all on its own without the additional support your leather belt gave.
@@TiberiousGib thanks. It’s in my shopping cart now. It’s getting thick and humid in northeast and I need a way to carry when wearing light shorts with no belt loops. Thanks!
How is it behind the wheel. Like driving. I've worked night shift for over a decade and during the warmer months i wear running shorts to work. Generally i just carry my holstered gun in my pocket. Was interested in this option but unsure if it will be subject to flipping over due to the weight of the firearm.
Ok i recieved this holster today,is there a break in period on the kydex holster?when you draw it looks like gun comes out pretty easy.mine doesnt, when i draw it kinda pulls the band up a bit..also kinda seems when its on,little top heavy..am i doing something wrong, any advice, recommendations?thank you
@TiberiousGib you know the recent issue I'm having with this holster.i did end up ordering a large size and I can't make it real tight cause there is no more velcro.so do you think since I can't make the band real tight, would that cause my issue?if I exchange to a medium would that help?
Hey, I am size 34, I bought it after watching your review, the band is really bad man, “it does not stretch”, well, stretch 1 inch, and that’s all, with the added velcro holster, it prints like crazy, for size 34, M barely fits to not fit, and L is way to large, velcro does not make contact, please be more careful with your reviews, I changed the L size for the M size, because it is considered a small company, shipping is not free, both ways, so I am at the point that it is pointless to return, for the hassle and the added shipping costs
I have the sticky belly band, I actually did a video comparing a handful of different belly bands. I really liked the Crosbreed, sorry you didn’t have the same experience. The sticky one was my second favorite one out of the bunch
I am a larger woman (5'9 #190 and fabulous at it). In your opinion, do you believe this could be a decent choice for a higher torso (under the big boobs) band for a G48MOD? I am looking for anti-slip, droop, and roll. This looks like it may be a contender. It seems like MOST choices on the market for the ladies are for very petite/slender ladies. If not, do you have any suggestions? I do not believe attaching a flashbang holster to my bra would be a good or comfortable fit. Thanks for any advice you can provide. I do realize you are male but maybe your wife may know. Thank you in advance. :)
@@TiberiousGib Thank you for the suggestion. I will look into that. Will you do a review on the Liberty belt once you have had a chance to try it? I'd like to see it in action in a higher position. I appreciate your content/reply.
@@TiberiousGib wow thanks for the response. I’m looking for a holster with Velcro that works with the mischief machine. All I find AIWB was hoping this one worked. Thanks!
