I miss crossfade so much like you don't even know! I littalry listen to them everyday they weren't huge or anything but dang did they have so much potential, I'll be hoping for more maybe a new album?
THEY'RE BACK!! and I'm way late to the party. I only heard "So Cold". I checked out their live sets from 2013. The frontman is incredible. Reminds me of Silverchair, not the sound but the approach. Dude has a million different vocal approaches ideas for every lyric
I remember listening to these guys the minute they released their first album. How and why did everything go downhill so fast so much? Not music-wise, but with members leaving and label trouble and all that stuff. They had so much potential judging from their first album. That album was killer! It just kills me to see and know how so much crap got thrown their way. Hopefully they bounce back hard and come out with another gem!
to think, i discovered this band back in 2005 on the psp sampler disc with their hit song Cold. after that i found their CD months later while they had a 2nd album already on the way. one of the best southern bands ive listened to in my life, 3 albums later and Ed went on his own to do a solo album, i miss this band dearly, i hope we get some kind of reunion down the road. god be with yall
i look for the sound and genre, but for me to truly appreciate the music, not only do i have to know the lyrics, but it has to truly strike a chord with me, relating to a situation i am or have been in. I am a man, but i have been reduced to tears rocking out to some of these songs.
It's a real shame this album was their least successful, because it's quality is just as good as their other albums imo. I doubt anyone in the band will see this, but you guys were and still are enough. Your fans haven't left and respect the hell out of you guys. I'm hoping you all can get together and make some cool hard rock but lyrically evolved to match your healthier mental state
The music industry industry is pretty rough when it comes to success and creativity in musical artists. I know the band members mentioned of working more music several years back, but it all honesty I'm pretty certain they're done playing. Ed has got a good solo album that came out a few years ago and it's a good way to support him. Some bands just like crossfade burn bright it the beginning, then things happen and they start to fade off in the music scene. Maybe one day they will release one more album. Time will tell.

I'm on another crossfade binge. With my additive personality its like heaven!! I'm a very open recovering addict( from EVERYTHING) THIS HAS HELPED ME so much during my life and I was 17 or 18 when cold came out, I was being cold to a girl ( my first wife) and used this to justify my actions. Crazy y how music influences, however THUS VOICE is the most underrated imo. Im also an audiophile so this stuff is played very loud and constantly ( apartment living rocks) Haha Love these guys so much I spill half my life! God bless all and the heart can be changed from the renewing of our minds,hearts and spirits! Jesus christ stands at the door of our hearts and knocks. He doesn't break in, but must be invited in to our hearts freewillingly DO IT! The only way I got and stayed clean...christ.
No matter how many commercial passages you may find involved in this, there was soul that was deeply seated in the lyrics that was meant to be there, and that was never changed by those corrupt hands. This man wrote a song, the businessmen changed it, but they could not change his words.
man just rediscovered them! mom used to play them all the time when i was a kid, one random day “colors” popped up in my recommended earlier this year, haven’t heard a bad song from them at all, favorite band, tops slipknot and a system of a down (arguably everyone’s top 5 bands)
Man... We need at the very least a farewell tour from these guys.... such a shame that they could've been one of the biggest rock bands ever, but sadly, they were ignored.... and never were given credit that was WAY WAY BEYOND overdue

i was listening to a song crossfade made 7 years ago when i was just a teen, and now that i'm older, i actually understand the lyrics, back then it was just good music to jam to. Lyrics are important, and people need to decipher them to get their meaning.. it's crazy
these guys had so much talent and soooo much potential and its a damn shame that they faded away all to fast!! maybe one day they will get their shit together and make another meaningful album! really miss them.....c'mon guys!
i miss it when this was the mainstream music not the trash you hear nowadays thats all recorded by computers and synths damn i remember when bands like nickelback and crossfade and shinedown not to mention 3 doors down, great rock bands that they even played on the radio you dont see kids wearing rock tees any more mostly mainstream rappers and popstars
I miss Crossfade as much the next person here but ed is making a solo album and he has a single that came out last week and it's so beautiful I have always said Ed was one of the most underrated vocalists of the decade and his new single just proves my point
DITTO !! I SECOND THAT !! Thank u man. I feel the same way. Crossfade Rocks. It just proves I have such a diversity of music I like. Theses boys r a prime example of how coming from different bands and backgrounds they have put this together and Their others r AWESOME TOO !!! U KNOW IT DUDE !!
Will hunt and this band are so badass. I too listened to them when I was younger (teen) I had the very first CD. Every time I my ex would piss me off, I would go jam them out in my car. CF has been with me through the good and bad. Thank you CF.
seeing people say this is "the most underrated band" is bullshit. They are not underrated, because they're pretty high on the lists of people who hear them. They are just not as well known, considering they're biggest song was "Cold" and that was way back. Personally, their music has been therapy to me since I was 10. Favorite band, hands down. Anyone who owns their albums knows good music, and would not under rate them.
