I’ve noticed the hate Noah gets from the CrossFit community and I never understood it because he seemed like an ok guy. The more I’ve seen of him the more I’ve found I like him just fine and the problem is those people.

Lion i think it’s because he’s young, and he acts young. Can you think of many popular young athletes? Lauren fisher acts about 10 years older than her age and Brooke Wells is thicker than your favourite milkshake.

This and Brooke Ence’s podcast have been the best ones yet. Noah seems like such a genuine guy and I feel like the reputation or impression that some people had of him are completely misleading- and maybe stemmed from insecurities he may have had in the past that he compensated for by just trying to fit in. He seems much more confident in himself now, and I’m definitely rooting for him to podium this year! Good Luck dude, keep being yourself - and f the naysayers...

I've only been following Crossfit for 6 months (since my daughter began her journey). Noah has always been one of our favorites--stood out. Mat Frazier too. And all the "dotters"! Nice learning all the athletes and their stories. Best wishes to all!!

Ben Martin I know, that’s why I thought it was weird, he seemed really mad. If he was just like, “I didn’t like Morgan promoting that nasty ass dew shit”, it would have been fine. But he was really on another level of “fuck that guy and everything he has ever done because he did a soda commercial and black people are fat.” Like wtf lol, way to put the blame on old ass Morgan.

Benwhitnell he did give the "I'm being a racist" disclaimer tho which is why he was focused more the Morgan Freeman part. Seeing Sevan getting worked up like that shows he holds Morgan Freeman to a high standard as a role model to the African American community. I really appreciate the man's passion and expression of opinions. As far as Morgan Freeman I still love the dude too. Whether or not he done it people are still gonna drink it. F*ck mountain dew.

I’m confused as why he would be mad at Morgan Freeman for “selling out his people” for promoting a soda, but not complain about any other white actor/celebrity (Jimmy Fallon, Katy Perry, etc.,etc) promoting soda and “selling out their people”

I'm sure he's not okay with them doing that either, but with Morgan Freeman, it stands more in contrast with his status, which is one of huge respect (deservedly so). What it has to do with him being black? I'm not sure.

Yedaiah I just said that because after his rant, the co-host says “Yeah, I mean the African American community is ravished with chronic health. I agree” or something to that degree.
