Omega bonded with her friends Season 1: Trace and Rafa Martinez and Hera Syndulla Season 2: Phee Genoa and Lyana Hazard Season 3: Batcher and Eva, Jax, Sami, and Bayrn
I’m glad how Crosshair changed from the arrogant prick with a superiority complex who looks down on regs to a humbled figure who now puts the needs of others before his. He’s loyal, grateful, protective and has great fondness and admiration for Omega but of course, he will never admit it. 😂
These two were the literal best! Omega brought out this really sweet soft protective side of Crosshair that I loved to see. I was absolutely living for their dynamic this season and could’ve happily watched several more episodes of just the two of them working together. I love the exchange when he’s checking on her and she’s like you’re as bad as Hunter. And he’s like oh. I much worse. And him saying he owed her at the end. Like downplay it. You love her like a sister/daughter and would willingly die to save her. And her running to hug him before Hunter and him tearing up was the moment I’d been waiting for all season!
Crosshair isn't a dad. He is Omega's true brother, overprotective, loyal, and never second guesses her, even though some of the ideas she may come up with are...less than normal.
[all the shuttles are locked down ] "... except the Emperor's. We have to steal it!" A prime example of that. 😂 I love how they then actually *do* that in the best HISHE/parody (Damiani's).
5:35 "Oh... I'm much worse." Well, we *know* you are. What hit right in the feels is that you actually dared to admit it. You would *never* have been able to do that if you weren't wearing your helmet. 7:37 "I never gave up on YOU, did I?" No, kid. And you were right. I miss two small beats: the first is from the meditation scene, where she corrects his hand. She's always so delicate about how much to touch him. She's a very tactile person, and he... is not. He somehow looks both startled by and starved for it at the same time. (Either Corbett or Portillo mentioned that they had so much more of that meditation footage but cut it for pacing reasons. If there's NOT a huge amout of cut scenes on the eventual DVD I will go ballistic.) The second is from S3E5 where a very happy Batcher has cleared the snow blocking the door in no time, wagging her tail, looking for more opportunities to be a GoodGirl. It's followed by a brief but very proud exchange of looks btw Omega and Crosshair: "That's OUR dog." 😊
