A break in the weather finally allowed me to practice in earnest flying cinematic with the new action camera. One of my motivations on flying FPV drones is to capture cinematic FPV footage.
I was using the Runcam HD cameras before, like the Orange and then the Thumb Pro, but I wasn't satisfied with the results I'm getting from them with the 5" FPV drone. Even with stabilization cranked up, there's always some artifacts or jitter here and there that I cannot seem to get rid of in post.
With the DJI Osmo Action 4, Rocksteady turned off, and letting Gyroflow smooth things out a bit, and getting rid of some jerky movements, the results are a lot better, I think. What's your verdict? Post your comments, questions and suggestions below!
