My name is Eric and I travel with my cats, “Tara” & “Opie” in a 24ft 2001 Ford Tioga RV named “Freeda” and tow either a 2014 Smart Car named “Tater Tot” or my 2012 Harley Softail Slim named “Black Betty” in a 6x10 trailer. We travel about 35 miles a day chasing 70 degrees year-round since 2010.

Just a comment about Spanish moss. I live in Savannah, Georgia, so I have been dealing with the grey tree beards all my life. It isn't parasitic, it uses the trees only as a place to hang out. It can harm a tree if it is so full of moss that sunlight can't get to the leaves of the trees. I have a couple of crape myrtle trees in my yard that get totally loaded up with moss and I have to strip it out of the tree so leaves and blooms will grow. Love your channel. Jax was the best. I know you miss him dearly.

I just learned this week at a Florida State Park that Spanish moss is an epiphyte: a plant that derives its moisture and nutrients from the air and rain and grows usually on another plant.

Hey Eric, I know most people won't like however I would. Just putting it out there in case you'd like to try it (I don't remember if you've done it) as someone that uses cinematography to express himself. Well here it is, ...an ASMR episode where all we hear is the sound of what you're doing... no talking, no commentary. Exceptions would Opie and Tara, of course. :)

Eric, Daytona is one of the few beaches in the world you can drive on. You could have just drove a few miles South on A1A and drove right on the beach, parked, and got out if not for the closure from the storms. They definitely should have opened the ramps by now. They do however also block a section of the beach from driving because of vacationing families. Main Street is smack dab in the middle of the vacation sector. No sure which one prevented you from driving. Next time you visit us you need to get off Hwy 95 at the Dunlawton/Pt. Orange exit. Just stay straight heading East and you will run into the Ocean. The view going over the Pt. Orange bridge is spectacular! Also you should visit Ponce Inlet. Beautiful beach, restaurants, lighthouse, etc..Safe traveling! 😎🌴🌞🍊

One of my favorite places, Ponce Inlet! I’m down here in Florida seasonally. I have a mobile home in New Smyrna. It is never is dull , always something to do in this beautiful state . Interesting sites no matter if you go travel east, west, north , south .

Eric, Dan Muller is right, Spanish moss isn't a parasite and doesn't kill trees. A lot of the times it'll show up on trees that are declining for some other reason and people blame it. You know how that is- getting blamed for something you didn't do? Lol. Hugs to the kitties and you!

I love HH. The more rural the better. The more urban are always booked full for weeks. Loved the brewery east of downtown Atlanta. Forgot the name but the word hand was in it. Nice people. Good craft beers.

Your content continues to excel Eric. Love the fact that you stop at these little out of the way places like the kindred kitty rescue! Years ago when i rescued cats, i had a outdoor cat kennel like they had on their porch. I have seen pics of people that also have cat entrances from the house to the kennel so the cats could come and go. Really cool! Keep it coming with good content! 👍🏻

I've noticed those new signs no overnight parking. I'm glad you asked. I usually park at loves or pilots truck stops. Just read that loves truck stops are putting in full hookups for rvs. There is a fee of course. Can't wait to see how that works out. Your leaving Florida early. I'm staying till April 24,

Spanish Moss is not a parasite and does not kill the trees.Its called Tollandsia usneoides .It is an Epiphyte.Tree that die with Spanish Moss are already damaged or sick. Do your research.

Like Amelia and Fernandina. Awe, that's a neat HH. Nice cause. Two good campgrounds Ga: Blythe, and Rivers End. If you're doing ☘️☘️ in Savannah ( fun, fun), Rivers End is good access, and very close to Tybee Island, and walk to beach, lighthouse. Andersonville has a county campground, one block from Main St, decent museum, small town, general store. Lk Meriwether camping very quiet. All places, really nice helpful ppl. Be safe. 🙂👍

next time you are in St Marys, GA checkout the downtown waterfront where you can still park overnight in a RV/BUS/Trailer great location and restaurants within walking distance.......I live here. Godspeed Eric

Here is what I DON'T LIKE about Buckee's.....THEY DON'T let any parking spots for SEMI TRUCKS.Therefore the fact that we live in WA state and AZ too.WE WILL NOW have to take a car drive there .I REALLY wanted to go inside while on the eastern area in the truck. NOW HUBBY RETIRED we have to take a road trip just to go to a BUCKEE'S. THEY NEED TO ALLOW SOME AREAS FOR TRUCKERS ,THEY JUST DO NEED TO.
