We Cross the Nullarbor Plain from East to West!! What an unreal Roadtrip and adventure across such a remote area Australia!!
We kick off this episode in Kimba which is halfway across Oz! We then we pull up at one of our favourite beach camps in Australia at Perlubie Beach before we load up and cross the Nullarbor!
Heaps of great campsites, EPIC views and great fun along the way!!
You can buckle down and smash out this drive in a few days or you can slow down and enjoy it like we have in this vid!!

Thanks for the sharing. One thing I noticed on my recent round trip across the Nullarbor…. Folks generally are so self-contained, they struggle to say g’day, let alone actually have a conversation. Most unfriendly bunch I’ve come across.

Put the baking dish in a foil tray, then put about a inch of water around the dish. That should avoid the cake from burning. Great vids guys keep them coming.

Not boring one little bit. I did this trip with my little boy, he looked a lot like yours, while pregnant with my second. Dont laugh. It was before it was sealed, and we wetre in a split screen Kombi. You brought back so many memories. It was all so familiar. So you are making memories you will never forget. Great vidio. By the time we came back, with two kids, we had upgraded to a 4 wheel drive and a little caravan that I designed and had built. All the best you guys.

In our Weber Q I use a trivet sitting on 4 balls of alfoil (with the trivet wraped in one layer of alfoil for insulation) then cook on real low. Should work or change to muffins as they cook quicker so won’t burn! Love watching you!! Google Weber a cakes etc for more ideas or RU-vid’s

I think I have out done U there. A few years ago I took my ageing mother, 2 primary school age daughters and myself over to Esperance from Melb. We had little money so we took 2 tents in our old family van. Pretty good consering my mum is in her late 70's. .......We only had a short amount of time as well trying to complete the journey in the Sep school holidays

Use a trivet to put your bread pan on in the Ziggy. It keeps the bread pan off the hot plate. We use a Ziggy too and it works a treat. Keep up the good work

Love your work Justin and beck we have been across a couple of times a great route you didn't take is the road from balladonia to esperance awesome adventure an old farmers road with some great stops on the way at an old station dam with yabbies awesome story to the old stations there are two with old horse carts and old stuff all around wild horses we loved it so much we stayed three nights checking out the sights a highlight to our trip and we did it a 40ft bus with a 20ft trailer two wheel drive cuts off norsman a must do ! The telegraph homestead bird observatory was great also but a day trip in the car and drove along the beaches collecting shells

Cleaning up after back packers and bogans ,i do the same. Love my ziggy .Put down a tray ,cake cooling rack then the tray to stop bottom burning. Steaks , have them at room temp ,run ziggy for about 15 min lid down to the red zone .stop watch on your phone.important lid down . flick steaks in ,after 2 min turn . after 2 min out. The ziggy cooks with heat 3 ways, from the grill , flame and lid.

Cactus wow memorial times.. my mates an myself were there roughly around there 76 on we helped establish it .. when the surf was on it was on when it was flat we helped with the fenceIng an showers toilets.. it was $2 a night with wood for the fire..lived on fish an rice and Paul would brings in fresh veggies from town. You would be lucky to see 10 people a week.. we would stay for 2 to 3 months every year and then in 1980 lived there for 1 year in a tin shed just out side of camp...excellent well done guys love your trip.

Didn't realise Kimba was half way!! I drove in late at night - we had a caravan booked - but it was seriously haunted - even the dog was scared - so we piled back into out van n drove to Port Augusta - had that kangaroo steak and slept at the back of all the trucks!!

Hi Bec, I use webber foil trays with a trivet on top in our ziggy for baking, helps stop the direct heat. Great for pizzas also.

This is so inspiring.. My Drifta hard top camper is being delivered in the next few weeks. In July I'll be driving across to go to the Big Red Bash. Every trip I've done before has just been smashing the KM out, not taking in these places. Well done mate, obviously you work hard to have have the toys and such a happy family.
