Ah nice to see Rundu again. I was there 25 years ago at RVTC setting up the plumbing department. I’m bringing my family for a visit this year 2023, out to Swakopmund, Palmwag, Etosha, Rundu, Vic Falls, and back to Windhoek. I drove up through Chobe 17 years ago with my wife, that was some drive in a petrol Navara in the wet!!! At one point we were running on two cylinders, then drying the distributor out 😂😂😂😂
@@NickfrNamibia your enthusiasm has been great to watch. Thank you for your input and wish you well in whatever your doing now. I’m sure my boys will be stunned with the diversity of Namibia. I would have liked to get them to Chiefs Island in the Delta but we won’t have time. Rafting down the Zambezi will be great for them too. I’m a lot older since my last time down there though 😂
Looks like you got out of Windhoek just in time with the flooding there. Grootfontien brings back memories of when we passed through there doing our military service.
Wow, very educational video. I am a Scandinavian living in Australia. We came 5 years after the end of the white Australia policy. I think your videos are very informative.
As iemand wat baie deur Afrika reis en verstaan wat dit verg, waardeer ek die moeite wat jy insit in die videos. Baie goed gedoen en baie informative. Hou so aan.
Great, thank you so much for the information. I will be in Namibia from the 29th December 2022 to 6th January 2023 and will be coming back via the Rundu route back to Botswana...i will try Roy Camp...thanks for that.
Miskien moet jy maar eerder die ou manne van die SAW vra hoe om daai plekname uit te spreek 😁 Been meaning to ask you, what is your bakkie's fuel consumption like since you rebuilt the engine?
Hello Nick, thanks for this video! You have the best Namibia videos!!! Do you know whether beef biltong “jerky” is considered uncooked meat that would be confiscated at the red line going south or east in Namibia?
thanks for watching. Yeah, biltong is too close to raw meat and will most likely get taken. As you can see from the Govt Notice there are many grey areas and up to the officials to decided with which you cant argue. So I wont chance it.
Nick, Great video as usual and the info on the red line I was not aware of!!! where are you going to be later January and Feb? I will be doing my first overland tour of Namibia, and Botswana. Rob from the UK
