This is a simple, but hopefully peaceful and relaxing arrangement I did of one of my favorite tracks from the Final Fantasy IX OST, Crossing Those Hills. I've always found it to be incredibly relaxing and upbeat at the same time, and now it has so much nostalgia for me. Let me know what you think of my arrangement.

@mastermind1089 im always worried about remakes. They often lose the magic of the original. Ff7 remake was amazing and made me feel nostalgic but the changed it a lot and now its in 3 parts lol

When I rented the game, my mom bought me Jack n the Box (a fast food chain in Southern California) and it was a rainy day. Whenever I hear this theme, my nostalgia kicks in and I remember that exact morning.

I played this game once again in 2021 and i could not get the same feeling i had when i played it on 2005. Still the memory of childhood when i was playing this game couldn't be replaced. Let it be memory forever as time flies so fast. Some memories are not to be happened again, they should remain as they are.

Those kids playing the videogames back then, in a world that was bit more hopeful, with some wonderful people around there at that time. I wish I knew back then, how rare those moments would be and how those people wouldn't be that one day in the future many decades in the future. Ah I wish I could tell newer generations to appreciate their life as they have it now, as time takes it all away, but the memories hopefully stay.

I did not have the chance to play this game in my childhood.. I just had the chance to see my older brother and his friend played this game and it's marvellous! Now it brings back so much memories and it is just amazing.

Just above mid 30 here but this is my favourite FF game of all. I loved 7 and 8 but this art style got me into it. I just love the fantasy worlds of old and this reeled me in. The story was what kept me, even after all these years I think its really holding up very well. Im quite interested in the remake although its not on the FF7 level. Which to be honest is a great game now it expands on stuff. I hope they can achieve the magic of the memoria project as for me that was just briljant done. Thank you for the music.

Grew up on 7, 8, 9, and Tactics first, and when I found out that "the crystal comes back" from the FF9 ads and such was referring to the old games, that was really cool to me. I also like the old fantasy world style that they captured in 9. I really wish they would remake FF4! Anyway, thank you for listening!

Nunca fui tão feliz jogando um FINAL FANTASY que nem o IX ..... Ganhei do meu irmão, pro STEAM, lá por 2016, mas nunca conseguia jogar, cabeça a mil... Certo dia, durante a faculdade, nos últimos semestres, voltei a jogar mesmo após perder vários saves na nuvem, como uma forma de descansar a mente, de ficar mais tranquilo, pois o TCC tirava todo o resto da minha energia! E, consegui... Que jornada incrível... Fiz isso quando tinha 32, hoje estou com 39 e ainda choro quando retorno aqui para ouvir essas trilhas! Bons tempos :)

Wow this music makes my heart flutter….. my younger years had lots of trauma but one thing that pulled me out was FF and RPGs in general. Also FF9 was a fantasy like no other for me. I really hope they remake it …. Please god. If you love FF9 Check out the project memoria that came out they recreated the first part of FF9 to look sorta modern and it’s crazy good

To be honest, nothing fancy. I just used the Upright Studio Bass that comes with Logic Pro X, and put it on a low D2. I did turn the volume all the way up on it and turn down the note velocity somewhat low, but the EQ, I didn't touch, and the rest was all default settings. Just worked out. So the answer is sheer dumb luck. :)
