Love your camping trip to Tortugas. Camped there in 1975 in my 21’ Seabird. Cooked with our Coleman stove and had a tour of the fort by lonesome park ranger. Fabulous place. Thanks for reminding me of that epic trip almost 50 years ago.

Ameri-trail is one of the best trailers on the market,, of course that's why you see them under all of the high end boats.. I did the Tortugas in our 25' Shearwater but it was just one overnight due to the weather window. Keep up the great content. My wife and I will be retiring in the next few years and are looking to move to the upper keys, we'll definitely call Stephanie.. We currently live in Bradenton, FL ..

Thanks for preaching about the future of our waters and fisheries. This has to be passed done to our youth. Taking fish for the tables without abusing the ocean is a must. Love watching your videos. Started a few years ago when I was trying to decide what kayak to upgrade to from my old paddle kayak. I only follow two people so it was cool to see you ran into the other guy at the boat show (deer meat for dinner). Not sure how an Oregon kayak fisherman that isn't a tech or social media guy gets into following two Florida guys😊 I've always thought you seemed like a guy who'd be fun to just fish and shoot the chit with. All low key, low stress.

When you dive, watch out for the saltwater croc. Great story on this croc. Next time you visit, try to get the croc in your video.

I have traveled 37 miles out fishing for the reclusive Atlantic Red Snapper (Roaches) and ready to take on any long haul. However, like you said, always weather permitting! Love the content! Loved this video. Do you get a lot of wind there or not so much ? We never get three days of little to no wind. These videos have me chomping at the bit to do some overnights on our boat. Our season is getting closer. The yard mechanic called me yesterday to say they moved my boat inside and are prepping it for launch in about five weeks. I can’t wait.

You didn’t talk about leaving a float plan with anyone. Did you have an EPIRB onboard? A 2 man life raft? Talk about listening to marine forecasts on the VHF radio? Safety should have been addressed more before an inexperienced boater attempts this.

Fun fact , my son Alex stained the shirt at the diner table the same night in the restaurant , we rinse it off with cold water and the stain was gone....Awesome shirts , can't wait to wear them on our boat .... I have read on other sites that you should get out away from the vegetation and to protect all food from rodents. Did you find this an issue and how did you deal with it?

Howdy guys… looking for possible places to park truck/trailer while making the crossing to Dry Tortugas. Garrison makes no reservations and for what I saw their parking is very limited. Looking to cross on a Sea Fox 248 and a Stamas 33 in Oct. Is October a good season to cross?

Clay I know the feeling . Last year I had to release a black around 40 pounds in key largo . It was actually the first day of close season . I have it on video in my channel. Looks like the you picked the right weather to make it so far in the pathfinder. Great footage like always . Saludos

Awesome vid guys. Question tho, muttons are normally out in the sand off the structure. Did you try moving off a bit to avoid the grouper? Grouper don’t normally leave the structure too far.

I built a beach house by myself on Eleuthera island Bahamas 1996 so I know the area, took me 3 years, shipped all building materials in 40 ft container from Solana Beach, San Diego, County. Love Florida keys and Bahamas out-islands. Lived there 10 years, have speared many fish, fought off sharks. I met Canadian GF when I lived there, worst problems I had was was GF bitching at me "you haven't taken me spear fishing all week!"
