One feature that's currently not working is the putting only meter. There's a menu item for it, but I can't get it to show without the full swing arc meter thing showing as well. Am I missing something?

Absolutely great news on crossplay. Ranked multiplayer is interesting to me too. I am so into the concept of tgctours, but it's admittedly somewhat beyond my capabilities and not sure it really fits into my life. With more interesting modes, hopefully more IRL friends on their consoles to play with, I'd like to think I can play a bit more often and consistently this time around. With him talking about some things being "best guesses" and totally willing to respond to feedback I just hope they do something about your ball issue quick!

Good thing about TGCTours as well is that you can choose to play in however many events you want and it always pairs you with people in similar skill, but it can absolutely be a time sucker. If they hit me with locking out the sleeves in societies, oh my!

5:28 If by Societies you meant everything except myCareer, i'm with you brother. But great to hear that matchmaking's coming and let's face it even with Tiger in it, a golf game is going to be somewhat niche. Just like in fighting games, if you can have crossplay it's the best way to add longevity to anything involving matchmaking/ranked/ladder in it by increasing the pool size and improving the chances of finding matches at your level. Can't wait to see it.

I think the best thing about cross platform is that there should always be people playing online 24-7 so it will be much faster too find a match too play online so thats exciting.. more people too game with. More people too chat with just an overall more exciting playing experience.. plus all my family and friends have Playstation i own xbox so this is awesome.. hope they release this soon..

Hey that's good news. I'm not able to play 3 click on ps5. After going into settings and picking 3 click I go play and its still has it on stick swing. Anyone else have this problem?

I hope they we can cross play private matches and societies. Also would love it if you could do a match making with your own tougher settings like no meters at all for putting and longer clubs. Since I went with no meters I stopped match making on 2k21 because I hated having the meters on. Can you tell the Creators of 2K23 to consider something like where you’re altering settings to make it tougher from the default pro settings. Great video and some great news also! Many thanks 🙏

Found out that you can turn the meters off in matchmaking by turning off the pre-shot feedback in the hud display options.

You need to be online to play the game, so you will need Xbox live to do that.

I think it is probably a launch window and what can be done. What needs to be prioritized for the game and launch and what needs to be pushed back. Think the game was always gonna launch now, probably no changing that, and without a delay possible, had to get in what could get in. Getting the game out before EA though was probably a big goal like you said. We will see when MP gets put in.

So for something like PC, the online community dies out. You play against the same 10 people always on head to head or divot derby. Cross play brings console into it as well so you can fill matches. Also raises the player pool for all platforms so that games can be had at anytime of the day. This also allows friends to potentially play with each other even though they are on different hardware. So my friends on Xbox who don't have PCs will be able to play with me in theory.

@@stlcards17 this is me personally... Last year I was a lot better on PS5 out of the box... this year I got it on PC (use a PS controller) and I can feel a massive difference. Now I will say it may be this year's changes compared to last year I'm not used to yet, but where I used to shoot an easy -5 I'm +4 this year. My guess is for the most part is just going to take everyone time to get used to everything

So OP or anyone who owns the game. Is it here? How's it work? please read on. Background. Been wanting to play Cross play golf with mates for like years. Previous Xbox 360 owner. Now PC player with Xbox game pass but all buddies still on Xbox. We NEED MP golf like the old days but lack of crossplay in ANY golf game online. Soooooo. Rumour online shows season 2 is out. Is the crossplay true? Outside of a coupla small videos and really weak looking gaming websites, I still don't believe it's true. Cant find anything official. Anyone out there who is an Xbox player who has now managed to cross play with someone on PC steam? Anyone?
