▶ ORDER HERE: amzn.to/3RsYnvD - In this Bible review video, we'll take a detailed look at Crossway's stunning ESV Heirloom Alpha Edition, a portable, ultra-premium edition that is ideal for travel and everyday carry. This Bible is printed and bound by Royal Jongbloed in the Netherlands and is guaranteed for life by Crossway. Featuring a highly readable 8-point typeface, premium-coated 30 GSM European paper, and a double-column, paragraph-style layout, the Alpha Edition offers a superb reading experience.
The red under gold art gilding on my Bible was flawlessly executed, and the perimeter stitching and edge-lined, Smyth-sewn construction provide next-level durability.
While the Wellington leather is a bit stiffer than the black goatskin edition, this Bible lays impressively flat right out of the box - an impressive feat for such a small Bible.
The dimensions of the Alpha Edition are 7.75" x 5.5" x 1.25", and when weighed on my scale, the Bible came in at 1 pound 5 ounces.

I really like this one! The compact form factor makes this nice to just hold in the hand and read. It would be great for travel, keeping in your desk at work or car. The art gilt is subtle but very well done along with the corner work and inner liner. I like the smoothness of the wellington, it's different than the grainy goatskin and will really look unique once it patinas. I was worried about the 28-30 GSM paper because I prefer a 36 GSM but it actually works in favor of this Bible in keeping it as compact as possible. I like that the references and concordance were left out to save space as well, it's like a compact thinline IMO. I definitely recommend this one, however I would not pay full price for one. If I was gonna spend $300+ on a bible it's hard not to gravitate towards an Allen, although I'm not sure if Allen makes a compact form like this. Cheers! @@BibleReviewers

@@Digable. Really appreciate your feedback! I agree with everything that you mentioned, and the leather really starts to soften up after a week or so of daily use. Regarding Allan, they did make the PR but it is out of print now. I actually have one on the way that I picked up last week and will be doing a review of it - it has a beautiful red highland goatskin cover and speckled pages. The Allan ESV PR made use of Crossway's Personal Reference Edition text block, so it's the same form factor as the Frost rebind that I showed in the review. It's essentially the same footprint as the Alpha, but it's slightly thicker.

I'm in the other camp - I'm really happy that it's a black-letter edition. 😅

While pretty, it is dangerous. If you love God’s word then you would use traditional text. If the Greek compilation or translations you use take Jesus’ Deity out of 1TIMOTHY 3:16 and John 3:16 or make Jesus lie to his brothers in John chapter 7 concerning going to the feast then that is not traditional text. Modern Bible translators translate from a corrupted set of codexes which jesuits, catholics and satanists compiled. They worked to replace reliable codexes to translate from, instead using Codex Sinaiticus which was created in the 1800’s which they pass off as the oldest and best “old” Bible; Sinaiticus, they claim is 1500ish years older than it truly is. Then there is codex Alexandrinus which “appeared” about ten years after KJV 1611 was published, and codex Vaticanus which appeared in the Vatican around the 1400’s and was rejected by the scholars that worked on the KJV. Not every verse in scripture was changed but there are changes throughout. In a nutshell, handing Bible Translators something “messed up” to translate “from” makes whatever they translate “to” wrong from the start.

Hmm so plz tell me what would you suggest to read from? Since all translations you claim to be from Satan

In my research the codex sinaticus dates 3-4th century yes discovered in the 1800s but your saying that text is false/fake?

@@j.dieason7527 You'll need to be concerned about what source text was used to translate from. 9 out of 10 Bible version companies won't even tell you what they used. You can look at Acts chapter 8 and see if the Bible version takes out the need to Believe in the Lord Jesus as the Son of God to be baptised and read whether The Son of God was removed from what King Nebuchadnezzar said about the forth person in the fiery furnace in the book of Daniel as well. I'd suggest putting a warning on Bible translations that do that to always check against the KJV or they will deceive you in spots. The source text of the KJV and NKJV is correct. But beware of the margin notes of the NKJV suggesting on almost every page to look at modern Bible translations because "the oldest and best" codex's say something else. Codex Vaticanus and Codex Sinaiticus were used to change scripture but those two don't even agree with one another over 30k times. They are not the oldest and best and the deception is great.

@@j.dieason7527 David Daniels at the Chick Tracts yt channel has numerous videos on the subject for you to research if you care to. Another channel has many experts providing details too. King James Bible Research Council Sinaiticus was created in the 1800's and passed off as much older by liars.
