Regarding one of the comments below: I think you are rockin' that mustache! It looks great on you and well groomed. I don't think your delivery is stiff at all; rather, it's precise, thorough and pleasantly conversational. I appreciate your attention to detail. I would like to hear about the other books and resources that you use for in-depth study. Great review!
Thank you Amy, that really makes my day. I am glad to get some positive, and kind feedback! I know I am not exactly entertaining, but having seen what people view these days for entertainment, I don't mind being slower and less excited. Yes, I would be happy to do some more resource reviews. I have some good resources that certainly help.
Thank you Dracon, Good to have you back. I have no experience with the ESV before now, so it is a new experience. Been reading the KJV solely for over a decade. But I am curious!
@@thomasbiblicalbookreviews2693 For most, the ESV is easier to read, and the translation is quite literal, more literal than the KJV. However, it does not have the resonance of the old KJV, its literary tradition. In my opinion, perhaps the ESV is better as a study Bible, and the KJV to read while tasting the words. Maybe later you could make a video commenting on the differences you find. It would be interesting.
Some critiques of your presentation...You sound really scripted and stiff. Try to relax and be more personal. Also, why was the ribbon isticking out of the box? Kudos on your thoroughness. Lastly, I would suggest losing the mustache. There are very few guys who can successfully pull off a decent mustache.
Thank you for your feedback. Stiff yes, scripted haha I wish. Might make things easier. The ribbon is sticking out because I had already inspected the Bible before the video and forgot to pack it back in. Losing the mustache is unfortunately out of the question. If you were to subscribe to my channel, I hope in time it will 'grow' on you.
@@KindomChums The fact that you took the time to respond to a comment made 11 months ago leads me to believe maybe you have more need of reading it than I do.
