Change list 1) More enemy placement and traps in some areas. Newly added spike trap. Enemies don't despawn until you kill them. 2) Less resources and "Mara" refuses to dig around garbage can. Some glass bottles are now empty. 3) Faster enemy movement. All enemies except for Goblin and Giant can spot you from far away. Guest can jump at you so keep more space when fighting them. 4) Less puzzle clues and no more crow hint. 5) Cheese items will ruin your rank unlike normal mode.

do any of the puzzles actually change in hard mode? Because I feel like the difficulty of having no or less hints is outweihed by knowing it as a second time player, and I doubt most people will play on hard for a first run.

At the Crypt puzzle at 10:42, you can actually drop the gate on the boss for an instant kill, just run around and pull the rod holding it up.

@@MakinaIcy There's 2 other tricks, 1 - at 1:24:39 you don't need the acid to melt the Dryad's head, all you need is to use the flamethrower, it takes about 30 fuel to do so. Also the minimum amount of heals you can use in a playthrough and get all 15 secrets is 3. First, get the upgraded medkit secret, then eat all the safe mushrooms then eat one of the two poisonous ones, use a medkit, eat the second poison mushroom (while still poisoned), use a large medkit for the heal + antidote, then eat the last dangerous mushroom, it should damage you but not poison and leave you at "okay" health. You can get your health to full right before the final boss by washing yourself at the water pool right before going down the ladder to the lab, it doesn't count as a heal. - Be warned though, the mushroom thing is super finicky and it took me a bunch of save/loads to get it right, sometimes the mushrooms that are supposed to damage but not poison you just poison you anyway.

Nice find I was wondering why you can break the clock. Although for hard mode, it takes multiple pistol shots than normal to break it down. So I think you better off solve it the normal way.
