1. Khalyla doesn’t speak for all people of color. 2.Don’t try to change Bobby. We watch because we love his personality and there would be no Tigerbelly without him. 3.Plenty of colored people, including myself, have said they enjoy Bobby’s racial humor. There is a difference between racial and racist and if anyone is confused by that then they are the problem, not Bobby. During these times of excessive wokeness we need a Slept King. 4. True equality is where everyone can be made fun of and appreciated. The issue is hating eachother for differences rather than appreciating eachother.
If Bobby thinks we were just "being negative" he's missing the point. a LOT of us were giving direct and honest criticism. (which ironically is what she asked for, last ep)
They need to re-read the feedback, filter out the hyperbolic, intentionally hurtful language, look at the substance of the criticism, then re-watch #248. No one wants to watch an hour of White/Asian Guilt Olympics, unless there really is some meat on the bone (i.e. if K or B actually did some horrendous shit), but even then, now isn't the time for mea culpas. The time is to understand, to honor the truth and needs of the present; to do our part to fix a long malfunctioning system.
He wasn't talking to people with honest criticism. He didn't address that group at all, which is another issue, but I don't think he lumped everyone into one category...
I really dislike this notion that everything that people say that's not in agreement with what you believe is "hate". Obviously death threats and messages to family members are bizarre, but there was a lot of well thought out, moderate, criticism after last weeks episode. If you dismiss all of that out of hand and tell people to just unsub you can never learn or grow.
Well we have no idea what went on behind the scenes, I can understand that being endlessly harassed doesn’t leave you wanting to dig through all the crap just to find some tidbits worth adressing. One is probably better just not opening that door
George as the producer should have let bobby know the actual reason why a lot of people disliked the episode. Seems he was not aware as to why. Missed the mark on that.
Or...or...because he is a producer, he didn’t tell bobby the whole truth, so that it creates drama and bobby goes off! Therefore, it creates more comments and views 🤷🏻♂️
@@IamaNewCreature would that really be beneficial for them though? it seems like a lot of people are pissed off, and would rather have them actually address the criticism instead of ignore it.
Lord, I think your subscribers are showing you love by actually pointing out why the last podcast missed the mark. It has nothing to do with the BML movement, but how self centered K was about it.
She is allowed to cry and be emotional and say some things that came out the wrong way without thousands of people calling for her to not be on the podcast is what he was saying. And i believe he will legitimately just quit doing tigerbelly before he kicks her off it, he has enough money. It's his and hers podcast
Man, Bobby made it clear, he didn't read any comments from the last episode. Someone clearly just told him there were "a lot of negative comments" without specification. Plus, that last episode was Khalyla saying what a horrible terrible person she is. And then saying it again. And then again. It wasn't funny or enjoyable. Of course nobody liked it. Bobby making jokes and being goofy is the main reason ppl tune in. It's precisely why Bobby said in the last episode he wasn't sure he even wanted to do one. He knew the vibe people tune in for wasn't there. It sucks that anybody who voiced constructive criticism is being labelled a "hater" and told to unsubscribe. Like.....what??
TigerBelly episode 248 - 21:58 "I'm willing to take any form of criticism, whatever fkin every verbal beating, I will read it all." *after cristism TigerBelly episode 249 - 4:34 "please don't listen, if you don't agree with us, don't tear us apart." i'm a fan since episode 1 (audio only)
A barrage of personal attacks isn't criticism. Why is it so fucking hard for people to see that he was talking about the rampant personal attacks? Calling someone a gold-digging whore, ISN'T a criticism.

George if you really cared about your friends you would let them read what the fans are saying and help them understand the current situation. Censoring your fans will very, very, quickly sink this podcast. Please help them understand 🙏💯😊
Not a good strategy to tell your fans not to listen, because we actually will not and there's a lot of people you're alienating not just extreme commenters. With you excluding fans this podcast doesn't feel good to listen to anyways since it is not that funny lately. This one has definitely been a snoozefest and is the first one I just turned off out of boredom in awhile. I've enjoyed it for the last three years since less than 30K subscribers, so thank you for that. For anyone looking for an unfiltered podcast to listen to go over to History Hyenas, I recommend the episode with Jessica Kirson. There's a high chance you will like that high-energy no-whiny-bullshit style of comedy if you got annoyed with the last episode.
The problem was it dragged on way too long last week. Props to Bobby for at least trying to lighten things up at points, despite Khalyla levying accusations at him as if he is some kind of racist and bringing his past which all already know very well. If you felt that shitty maybe she should have sat that episode out and rejoined for this week.
When khalyla said the problem was they’re always so silly and last week they weren’t and that’s why they got hate. She totally missed the point of why everyone was so cringed out.
BostyDaSnowMan yeah, her rant was two weeks ago, I’m over it. I saw last weeks episode, it was great & im looking forward to tomorrow’s. Is we finished or we done?
Disappointed with the message from last weeks episode, even more disappointed with the follow-up this week. Really expected more from the crew who said so much rational stuff in the past regarding the extreme “woke” culture and who we love and said multiple times that we fans boost Bobby’s career and make them happy...
It sounds like Bobby was just told “there were a lot of negative comments about khalyla”. If that’s true, he needs to know that a majority of the fans just didn’t like the way she brought everyone down claiming you’re all racist and virtue signaling sooooo hard last episode. I’ve long had a problem with her telling the people around her how to live and being a know-it-all. I’m having a hard time watching Bobby say “stop listening” to this group of fans who just want the podcast to be good. It’s sad to see this, TigerBelly deserves way more subscribers. Also maybe it’s time for a podcast with Erik Griffin.
Yeah and I also blame khalyla because she was crying and saying that she wanted the criticism but looks like she can’t even get herself to read the criticism she asked for.
Khalyla last week - "I am throwing myself to the wolves, I am willing to take any criticism of any kind, verbal abuse, I will read it all and learn from it" Bobby defended her but didn't realize she invited the hate, further proof that Bobby also tunes her out when she goes on a rant...
It was nauseating seeing the arrogance on her face. This is the vapid, "hollywood bubble" that I feel people talk about. People who ask for criticism, and feedback, but then call those same people haters and brush it off as negative.
Sure, pass off valid criticism and just label it as “hate” to spare yourselves the truth that you have become so deluded from. As tiger belly grew the show lost what made it special imo. Go ahead and head on over to BAD FRIENDS guys. It’s just like Tigerbelly without the negative aspects
@@Th3oSK In one podcast they played a clip of a white lady singing a song in an exaggerated Chinese or Japanese accent and they laughed about it. Later, in another podcast they had the lady call in and then Santino proceeded to condemn her for jokingly using an asian accent and his reasoning was "context". This is ridiculously hypocritical because Santino does different asian accents allll the time for comedic purposes. It's never in "context" it's just him doing an asian accent because it sounds funny. He even did a whole comedy set in an Indian accent. I don't care about people doing accents but he's a POS for condemning someone for doing something he does all the time, and I think the reason he did this was for damage control so that he will not be canceled one day by the outrage mob for his use of accents. He's lost any integrity he once had. Side note, I hear on good authority that Santino will be next to get exposed for messing with underage girls.
Let me start off my saying that this podcast has brought me more joy and laughter than most other podcasts combined. With that being said, I think that disregarding the negative response to last weeks episode as merely “hate” seems kind of disingenuous. The crux of most of the comments on the video seemed to be that people don’t want the show to change for the worse because of some of the things that Khalyla said in the heat of the moment, which she herself admitted to not being fully thought out or well articulated. The overwhelming majority of viewers love and support you guys and just don’t want the show to go downhill. Nosotros papaya.
Maybe the people who were "hating" were doing a little more than just critiquing last weeks episode. That makes more sense than TigerBelly hating people who just wanted them to be themselves. Just throwing that out there.
J.D Maybe, although I doubt it. Those saying rude things about Khalyla and actually hating were a very small minority and George was pretty on top of deleting their comments. They also didn’t address any of the legitimate criticism anywhere.
Ok... but what exactly did khalyla do wrong. She said she isn’t taking anything back?? Maybe more articulate yes but she did address the criticism? Maybe it hurt your feelings a bit to be told to stop watching but my guess is you seem like a real fan... you’re going to keep watching even still and realise this was actually a positive turning point. Or don’t... but I’m very excited to see what come next!!
Michael Tomalty Michael Tomalty She said they’re all racists for taking part in a podcast in which racial jokes are made and was generally hysterical, going as far as to say that she doesn’t feel worthy of breathing. It was extremely uncomfortable. And no, she didn’t address the criticism, she merely acknowledge that there _was_ criticism. It didn’t hurt my feelings to be told not to watch because I don’t feel that I am the type of viewer who he was talking about seeing as I’ve been nothing but respectful in this comment and the comment I left on the last episode. Also, it remains to be seen whether or not the show will change for the better or if it will change at all. Although, if you take the things Khalyla said in the last episode at face value, I believe that she could have a negative impact on the show by being hypersensitive about “offensive” jokes.
"dont listen anymore" "if u dont agree with us" what a great example of creating an insane echo chamber. The ease in which they denounce fans for giving direct criticism is just wrong. What you realllllllly want is fans/people with the same beliefs as you, are we really changing much that way? S M H
The fact that TB takes criticism, doesn't neccessarily mean that they should agree with them or enter a discussion to change their audience's opinion to their point of view. Respectfully asking those who disagree with them to leave, is a sign of respect simply because TB knows that they won't change their opinion on the matter. Expecting those who disagree with TB to stick around would only cause more aggravation to both parties so it is better for 1 party to leave.
Can you please make an example of constructive criticism under the last episode? Because I swear all I saw was butthurt racists whining about the fact the podcast got too real.
@@UnknownUnknown-bx2lc Again, asking someone to leave is not necessarily shutting someone out. To clarify: The TB podcast is open to everyone, right? Let's say that the TB podcast is Bobby's house. So the house is packed, there's a party and everyone is having fun. Then George has the brilliant idea to hold a survey. So he's asking everyone for their opinion. According to the survey 60% wants Khalyla to do private lap-dances. Bobby naturally refuses, but then the 60%-group starts to shout 'take it off!' at her. Bobby asks them to stop but they refuse and tell him that they are the majority and are willing to pay for it. Now Bobby asks them to leave and only 30% stops with their actions while the other 30% keeps shouting and demanding for a lapdance. Bobby is forced to call the police on the last group and they got arrested In short the 30% that was asked to leave, but ultimately stopped can come back. While the other group is banned. Bobby respected everyone until they were asked to stop. Now do you see the point I'm tryin' to make?
They aren’t wrong and it isn’t a childish response. He’s talking about the fans that took things too far with their criticism. It has nothing to do with the other things. Otherwise why list the fucked up shit they did and talk about specific types of fans. I will say Bobby seems to have a hard time dealing with any criticism in a constructive way, but it is hilarious watching him try. Enjoy them for them and don’t be hateful, you can say you don’t agree but don’t go beyond a comment on a RU-vid channel. If you do you are just a piece of shit, projecting your issues on other people.

Bobby telling those “haters” to stop watching the podcast after just buying a new big house is not smart. He doesn’t seem to realize it’s TigerBelly fans buying the tickets. Unless those checks from acting are THAT big, this will bite him in the ass.
a bit disappointed that the message of the fans was not received well. especially those comments that were critical about the show yet were helpful. it shows that you cannot take constructive criticism. It shows how biased George is in going through the comments and labelling any comments that are not praising them as hate. maybe i will take bobbys advise and move on. i know you guys dont care but im just saying listen to your fans even just for a bit cuz without us, who are you?
I’m taking a break too. I come here to laugh. And I’m being reminded of the shit show in the world. Most of us listeners are liberal. But I don’t need more seriousness at a time I need an hour to laugh.
There was nothing brave in last week's ep. You thought you could get some easy pop by showing virtue, but ended up telling your audience they were racist.
Cmon Bob. People were annoyed with how Khalyla made everything about her and was making the people she was trying to help uncomfortable. You don't need to threaten to flog yourself to help make a change
That's not why you were annoyed. You were annoyed because you were scared that Khalyla was going to change the politically incorrect Bobby you know and love into some bland, safe comedian, because of her (unwarranted) guilt. You completely ignored her intentions, which were at their core good, despite being over the top. You shit on a good person who had their heart in the right place because of your selfish fear of losing your weekly form of entertainment. That is all. Be honest.
Most of the comments weren't hate they were simply saying that they didnt want tigerbelly to turn into this politically correct form of media and we didnt want to feel guilted when watching this podcast.
@@theblueprince4866 I'm the loser? Lol I'm trying to give the podcast that I love contsructive criticism (which Khalyla asked for) and youre over here spewing hate lol.
Bobby I understand you're trying to white knight for your girl, but come on, to say that everyone disliked last week's episode because of the position you took, your completely ignoring the truth. People had no problem when you and Andrew talking about the recent events on bad friends, y'all spoke your truth, and it was great. Then to tell us, that we should stop watching when we give you genuine criticism because we care about the show, that just tells us that you only paid attention to the hate. But fine, when people stop watching, like you told us to do, don't be surprised why.
to be fair tho its easy to assume because of the position he took people might be upset. Because hes dating khalyla he sees her differently than everyone else. Its understandable. Last weeks ep wasnt fun but its what they wanted to speak about so fuck it ya know.
Comedian being censored is the downfall of a comedy podcast

Some people always misunderstand that as a License to say ANYTHING just to be Offensive ... thats not what comedy is about either. But i guess you cant debate taste... that doesnt mean you shouldnt be saying things that could be Offensive either
It depends honestly. If you have a handicap and you’re still almost as funny as without it. Legend status. But obviously a lot of comedians are raunchy comics. So they can’t do comedy without it.
Get yourself together man. We basically said don't change because we love you just the way you are, we know you are not racist, your heart is ALWAYS in the right place. Now you tell us to leave?
@@justjo510 really? People are critqueinh what she said because it was quiet literally a dumb thing to say. Crazy how you genuinely dont understand that.
Damn, Bobby. Cringe worthy. "If you don't like it, don't listen." That's just a simpleton response to criticism. The fact is, we do like Tiger Belly. In fact, we love it. We love what it has always been. Now you are heading into this woke area that nobody wants. And to reduce us all to "racists" is just laughable. The criticism had nothing to do with racism. But if that makes you feel better, then so be it. Nosotros Papaya from a fan who has listened to every single podcast, minus this last one because I could only stomach it for 7 minutes.
@katie chatelain Telling someone that his response is that of a simpleton is not criticism at all. It is an insult. Furthermore threatening Bobby with stopping to love his work because he changes into a direction you personally don't like isn't love at all.
George tell Bobby what 99% of the Khalyla criticism on here and especially reddit was really about. She made the situation all about herself and didn't add to the discussion.
@@leonbuzza We live in a day in age when people try SO HARD to prove they aren't racist and it's excessive. They act like she did where it no longer is about the issue it's about how horrible they are as a person and don't deserve another breathe on this earth. The problem is we don't even understand what she was trying to articulate. Was she saying she used to be rascist and was superior to people in her own country in the Phillipines because she is half white are more fair skinned than her people (fair skin is still considered desired and superior there)? or is it because there were rascist people around her towards black people, muslim people, other Asians, etc. Read Bobby and Gilbert's body language. They were just as uncomfortable as we were they just won't say it. Maybe one time her and her friends made a joke about black people or muslim people or who knows what. Maybe white people when she was 12 years old. And therefore she is a horrible person and deserves to die. I guess we all are. Khalyla is funny too. I like when she says shit like, "You're so fucking stupid Bobo!" She is a great dynamic too the show. But that rant was a WTF moment. We don't know the background of why that came out so it seems so out of place and out of context. Maybe if we knew why she felt that way. I love you guys, and I hope 2 things are clear, cause I still don't think y'all read any of the comments. Most of us are progressive, most of us agree and endorse BLM. The problem with last epside was 2 things; 1st, this is a comedy podcast, and censoring yourself will only do it harm. Unless this is a FM morning radio show, be free to talk for the sake of comedy. 2nd, we weren't having an issue with BLM, but more of the self-flagellation Khalyla was inflicting upon herself...it seemed more like she used the premise of BLM to talk about her feeling and her opinions rather than provide any substance regarding BLM. Unless she was a black person, it felt self-serving, that's all; if you're going to bring up BLM talk about the cause and the systemic issues black people have faced/continue to face. Still , all love, hopefully you guys take the time to listen to your fans and not just *assume* what the outrage was about.
exactly. none of us are anti blm. None of us are anti-khalyla. She just said some reactionary stuff and can't handle the responses, so now suddenly everyone who doesn't like that episode is being portrayed as somehow being against women & black people. what a pathetic response to critique.
@Allen Silva The point is, it isn't about her. And the issues the black community faces, she will never be able to face those same problems. I have seen VERY little backlash from black people when non-black people talk about their struggles...unless you make it about it yourself. Again, they didn't have to bring up BLM, but they did (and good for them too), but just the way it was presented. Whitney Cummings' podcast did it right, imo. You don't have to like her or her comedy, but her last few eps have been very good, because she modified her typical podcast into a platform for others to share their views. Again just my personal opinion about how Khalyla/Bobby handled it, not about BLM itself.

I didn't say anything at the time because it had all been said already but essentially telling the people who helped you buy your house, fill your PO box with gifts and just offer you untold levels of support and personal pick me ups is a bit of a slap in the face. Same time I totally get defending your girlfriend, even if she is being irrational...
Clearly you didn’t listen to what he said. His comments were directed specifically towards those individuals that left vile and hateful comments. Not valid points and not criticism. I’m blown away as to why that’s so difficult for many of you to comprehend. Lmao @ all these people thinking he’s speaking to each and every person directly. Smh
@@chriscarter5197 Nah dude I listened just fine thank you. I take your point, I do. However I can't see the emails he referred to, neither can you. I was mostly thinking of the comments on last weeks youtube video. There was a lot of fair points made without being "vile and hateful" so I would hazard a guess that some of those emails were the same. My point is that he is referring to all the comments/emails under the same umbrella, which is a sweeping generalization, and an unfair one. I did genuinely see a lot of constructive criticism in amongst some admittedly juvenile and nasty stuff. I also didn't think he was talking to me directly, as I clearly stated I didn't say anything about last week. No point in getting lost in the mire. Thanks for the thoughts though.
@@tmiris3006 Yeah, posting self flagellating videos. I adore this podcast, but the way K was going on last week you'd have thought she stood by and personally let those dicks murder that poor guy. It was a bit much.
the fact that we disagree with what you said on the last podcast it doesnt mean we hate you or kk, we just disagree and that's it, just try to take those comments as a feedback instead of as hate stuff.
I think there were some really heinous comments. Comments that we didnt really see. Ours were harmless. Imagine walking into the Comedy Store... A place of laughter... And all the comedians are crying, or being stifled by their crying significant other. Imagine you walked in there sad. Depressed. Tired of the world's bullshit. Expecting some release of tension through laughter... And everyone in there was sad. I'd walk the fuck out. I'd leave a comment about it, too. Last weeks podcast did exactly that to me.
Ethan Rhodes Yeah you are right, there were a lot of nasty comments, but I mean in every single video you will find those hateful comments and is fucking sad
I don't think we should "attack" khalyla, but nothing wrong with saying we don't want to hear her making it all about herself the entire episode. We're all different races, different political views and none of us wanna hear that. Btw I thought this episode was hilarious, love solos
Yes episodes was the best yet in my opinion. I don’t see anything wrong with self criticism or self loathing... I think that’s been a big part of tb success. It came from her heart.. what more can you ask for?
The disconnect with the fans is crazy I cannot believe you got nothing from the actual criticism soo sad to see. You guys are normally so intuned with the fans nobody is against the BLM movement everyone here is supportive of it. The approach that was made last weeks podcast was not a good approach it was so self-centred rather than talking about BLM. Please George don't do a bad PR move be fully genuine make a video or on the next podcast just re-address the situation coz this was not it.
honestly I hoped you would be more receptive to the comments, criticism aside theres an obvious difference between hate and constructive feedback. Mistakes were made, own up to it a bit more than that popo
Ironic that Bobby Lee, one of the most fragile people on earth, telling his viewers not to listen. Context! Sure some of the negative feedback was verbalized in an absurd way but the root of why there was so much negative feedback is because of Khalyla's stupid self guilt obsessed rant
@i made this cos you said stupid shit Critism is fine, mob trolling isn't. To clarify: calling a woman, any woman, a gold digger is not construcrive critism. TB podcast asked for constructive criticism and the majority, especially from the Trumpians, because calling them Republican is simply an insult to all Republicans, werent.
No clue what people are trying to tell you. Everyone supports B.L.M but to use it to turn the attention on yourself is boarding on narcassistic. Telling people not to listen rather than hear peoples views (with a smarmy smile)when those same people have helped pay your bills these last couple of years is tone deaf.
Yeah, I’m sorry, but this is the dumbest comment on here. Sure, constructive criticism isn’t hate, that’s a fairly accurate statement, but more than the majority of comments weren’t constructive, they were just hate against Khalyla, as they have always been when it comes to the YT comment section for TB. Don’t try to twist the narrative. You may have left a constructive comment, but it’s blatantly obvious that wasn’t the sentiment in the comments for the most part. Edit: like he said, if you don’t like it, please don’t listen.
Our generation’s Yoko. Rip TigerBelly, moving on to Bad friends where they actually interact with fans and Bobby is allowed to make jokes without being shut down. All those constructive comments in the last podcast were a waste of time. Sad
Love Bobby always will but..... Yeah I've tried some of these solo eps and honestly if they don't have a guest its rough. Bad friends is much better but even there Bobby speaking politics/ current events is like a 5 year old trying to explain rocket science.
very finan I honestly think the quality has been going down since the COVID thing started and they don’t have any real guests anymore. And Khalyla is slowly going crazy.
jonathan martinez But their podcast isn’t a product that people buy. They’re just a group of people recording themselves having unscripted conversations and sharing it for free. If they did treat it like a business, they would be way more concerned about the numbers and bend to the will of viewers. But if they did that, then slowly their podcast would be more like a television show where everything is pre-planned and vetted, making it much more inauthentic down the line.
I must say it’s refreshing to see 50% of the listeners finally agreeing with my point from 6 months ago. Narcissism is running rampant and bobby doesn’t wear the pants so guess what...we get more sociopathic manipulative narcissism every episode.
I cant even watch him now. It's totally ruined it for me. Gutted as I loved tigerbelly. Andrew santino wanted to call bad friends red and yellow. Bobby wouldn't have it. Hes changed. He has become a real tw*t.
I get where he’s coming from BUT they are still missing the point. It needs to be brought up and discussed. They are clueless about how the fans actually feel.
Jesse L. I stated an opinion. I didn’t demand justice lmao I feel it would be a good discussion about why people got upset. If you value friendships you just talk it out and move on. Opinions aren’t the end of the world. Relax
Bobby you're tripping man last episode should have been about BLM and your girl made about herself. That's all people were pointing out. Bobby you looked annoyed yourself so...
ive listen this podcast for years from spain, so sad to see how lately its getting so bad, ive never commented before on one of your videos bobby, but im just sad about how u guys specially kalayla is destroying this podcast because of her ego, youre the one we all come to see, not her and her swimming stories, ill continue watching bad friends and ill come back if it ever gets better, cause this is unwatchable (sorry for my english, not my main language) much love
That's a fair criticism and I think u explained urself perfectly even tho English isnt ur 1st language. Bad Friends is great bc they do make fun of stuff but it's always in a light hearted manner and afterwards they take the time to address the serious side of things too. They make crude jokes but theres an honest humility to it and they arent fake or afraid to express their real feelings. All in all Bad Friends is just a great show and 10,000x better than this one, which seems like a train running out of track
I didn't even care about Khalyla's rant, maybe she was being self obsessed and virtue signalling, maybe she was sincere and just emotional. Whatever, don't care. I'm just scared Slept King's gonna be censored now.
Wow Bobby really is gonna ask us not to listen .... they asked for feedback on an absolute garbage episode and they got it. That’s cool message received bob. Nosotros papaya
Guys like Tanner are freaking pathetic. You guys have the right to have an opinion and Bobby has the right to disagree with it. He said he doesn't want you, why are you still here?
Exactly, that was the point of the podcast. Not to minimize his or his co-hosts voice, but to have some light-hearted fun with some unhinged and hilarious conversation was always the point.
I love tigerbelly... they all work great together. That being said, last week's episode got real cringey. Don't pander, and don't feel guilty about being who you are. We get enough pandering and guilt from the media and the politicians, I come here to get away from that crap.
I just lost a lot of respect for everyone on their team who knew the truth but chose to let it slide under the rug. That’s not what genuine friends do...
Bear that's a Dave your grammar is so appalling that it’s hard to understand what you’re saying, but they’re down 2,000 subscribers since yesterday, and they only gain ~1000 every two episodes. I just looked in their social blade. You’re about as disconnected as these two Jabronis are.
