I just saw Crowbar a few weeks ago and thought something was off with their sound. I thought the guitar sound was a little thin. Now that you mention it, Kirk's vocals sounded a little muddy too. I seen them two other times prior and they sounded killer. Could have been the venue too.
Crowbar is a gold! Decades of proper songwriting! The sound! I love Randall powerplants! I so fucking love their trustiness to Randall amps. Not much artists today can be seen using Randall.
It's a shame that Randall as a brand kinda vanished and hasn't offered anything new in like...almost a decade? Does anyone know if they are done for good?
@@joer-tard2821 Crowbar are legends but they do kind of get overlooked in heavy metal in general. For a band that has been kicking ass since the early 90's it would seem they should have a way larger fanbase.
25:34 One of my favorite bands since 1995!! Thanks to Beavis and Butthead (ha) and my older brother who had 3 songs from the Crowbar 'self-titled' on a mix-tape. I bought both Crowbar 'Obedience Thru Suffering' and Nailbomb 'Proud To Commit Commercial Suicide' cds together in early 1996 at a record store in Peoria, IL (those were the days!!).
Great fuckin' set. what an amazing performance from Crowbar, kirk's vocals are fucking barbaric. The heaviest band to ever exist in music. Always far exceeding any expectations. You're going to be very hard-pressed to find something more Crushing. Metal forever my brothers and sisters. 🤘
@@henrymartin9147I think he's with solar only about 2 years . before he played different models of standard E and the patrick jensen's signature I have never see him with another cutom models other than this one in the video.
man i love crowbar. i need to see them live again. sidenote-i hate it when people are on their phone during a show. how the fuck you gonna be in the moment.
No one can enjoy a real show anymore without a fuckin phone. I have respect for guys who don’t pull their phones out and rock the fuck out. I can hang with those guys
It's a dumb move for sure, and usually results with a low sweep and someone going up top to slay the giant. Stand in the middle of the pit as a beacon. Or stay in the back.
@@connorchucknorris5877 Lmao. I would fucking DARE YOU to do something about it. If I got there before you and I happen to be right in front of the stage I'm not just gonna relinquish my spot just cuz you didn't get here earlier. It aint my fault if you're fucking tiny.
@@connorchucknorris5877 If my favorite band is playing and I made an effort to get there earlier to be able to stand at the front of the stage, you best believe I'm knocking you the fuck out if you try to pull this kinda shit on me.
I understand that the people who attend this venue are not used to mosh or hc bands, but bro, you got CROWBAR playing in front of you and you start filming??? not even a headbang?
Sign of the times unfortunately. People would rather get internet PP touches over a crappy quality vid they share on the interwebbs than just live in the moment and have a good time.
