@@estebanterrance5023 New series? Not sure what you mean but the whole 2 1/2 hour concert can be streamed for at least a few more months via Australia's ABC iView: "Crowded House Live At Sydney Opera House - An unforgettable event from the steps of Sydney Opera House. In 2016 Crowded House returned to play a cavalcade of their hits and favourites 20 years after their landmark last concert."
Here's the thing about Crowded House: you can take thousands of people (or tens of thousands), put them in the seats, and every single one of them knows every single word to every single song. They elicited such dedication from their fans and rewarded them with the most beautiful music.
Two things- 1- Truly a beautiful, timeless song. 2- It has got to be trippy and humbling for Neil to have thousands of fans singing HIS songs back to him. An amazing feeling, I would wager.
No matter how many times I watch this I am totally moved by not only the song but the audience responses and the looks of absolute love they have for this band. Many times this video has lifted my mood and leaves me wishing I was there 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
THE infectious, introspective gem for composer Neil to leave his massive local Aussie audience with. Bettered only by a sustained note, an impromptu upbeat rendering of Carol King’s “I feel The Earth Move”, and friggin’ fireworks! 💥 Thank you, along with Nick & the rest of the talented band, for collecting us in this Crowded House 🌏 as we all miss our beloved “Hessie”.
What a song and what a awesome crowd..and the endings epics ..loves its ..I hads # true colours in my heads as I was listening to this then heards the # Earth's moves ..omg that's my childhoods rolled into 1 ..thank yous 💯🎉🫶👍✌️
I'm a child of the 80s, in California, so that voice resonates for me very directly. Radiant loving sound. His quarantine recordings show he is as good as ever, or better.
wow tingles up my spine from hearing the crowd singing this song with Neil and Crowded House! so good! i first heard this song 18 years ago on the last night of holidays up in the Whitsundays and got homesick but this song hit a soft spot so thankyou Crowded House! And i dedicate this to a girl whos very close to me, she better be home soon ❤️
M@@edwinvanderkooij8713Grow up mate. You got BONO and that peadophile ex priest who likes to tackle Olympic runners on the home stretch winning gold so ge can bevome famous for being a complete irish dickhead. Leave us Kiwis to have our own hero's instead of trying desperately to claim them. It's pathetic. Jesus Christ what next?
I never knew it meant so much to so many people, I'm not alone, that's why i tell you , you better be home.................................... .................soooon
Brought a huge smile to my face,What a band,Love you crowded house! Aussies are good people. Polite audience with a mix of young and old... I sure wished I could have been there in the crowd singing along all those hits.
It fills me up with immense joy to know that I was lucky enough to be a part of this incredible concert. 27 November 2016 is a night I will never forget for the rest of my life.
Truly love this performance...when performers and audience become ONE VOICE. And to see the joy on the faces of the band members as the audience's voices carry that note. I'll take this over pyro, lasers, fog, smoke and all the over-the-top 'tools' of the concert world. Greatness...

Somewhere deep inside Something's got a hold on you And it's pushing me aside See it stretch on forever And I know I'm right For the first time in my life That's why I tell you You'd better be home soon Stripping back the coats Of lies and deception Back to nothingness Like a week in the desert And I know I'm right For the first time in my life That's why I tell you You'd better be home soon Don't say no Don't say nothing's wrong 'Cause when you get back home Maybe I'll be gone, oh It would cause me pain If we were to end it But I could start again You can depend on it And I know I'm right For the first time in my life That's why I tell you You'd better be home soon Oh, that's why I tell you You'd better be home soon
The whole 2 1/2 hour concert is a treat. If you can access Australia's ABC iView, check it out before it expires in about 3 months: "Crowded House Live At Sydney Opera House - An unforgettable event from the steps of Sydney Opera House. In 2016 Crowded House returned to play a cavalcade of their hits and favourites 20 years after their landmark last concert." You can also stream it via Stan.
There's a guy that appears in the frame on the right at 2:07 and I swear to god he was in the crowd in the original Opera House gig. Anyone else think it?
Neil I think you’ve gotten better with age.😉 I really wanted to know where you met your wife Sharon did you go to school together or what? I like seeing her with you playing base. Hope you Reply🇺🇸
This could be the most beautiful song and lyrics ever written and performed. The words are a master piece. But the crowd singing is the best part. They love this song and group. I do too.
Ohhh, the tears just watching this video and the audience's response. I love this song so much, but I could barely sing along, my throat was tight with emotion.
At 1:22, the look on the young girls face says it all. She wasn't even born when they recorded this, yet it moved her to tears. Crowded House is highly underrated.
Not by me. Have loved them since I first saw them at the Aston villa leisure centre november 18th(or 19th thanks set list fm) and have loved them ever since
Se puede oir esta canción 10 veces por día??? y así en las últimas 4 semanas??? jajajajajja Es que es tan linda.. pero tan linda.. su letra, su melodía, el público cantando con emoción.. sintiendo cada palabra.. y bueno.. Neil is GREAT!!! Thanks for the Music!!! Salute de Argentina!!
This song, this video, and the crowd singing along make it nearly impossible for a tear to not well up. The kind of tear that you try to fight back when you are so happy and something is so beautiful that you just can’t help it. Neil Finn surely has to be one of the most underrated musicians ever.
@@michaeltw1000 You must not have been paying attention, or you're too young. These guys were all over US radio for several years, several hits still are. Neil Finn is a national treasure to the Aussies. Remember, you can be world famous without being an American rock star.
Just really discovered Neil and the band. Wow! At the beginning when he starts singing with no music and the drummer has his head bowed and starts singing along priceless. The way he is one with the crowd unbelievable
Música de qualidade que atravessa gerações e se mantém como umas das mais belas canções A magia dos inesquecíveis anos 80 que emociona através do tempo!!! Brought a huge smile to my face,What a band,Love you crowded house!
