I find things at estate sales and auctions, charity shops, and thrift stores, and even pluck treasures from Goodwill bins and street curbs as they are headed towards the landfill.

12:08 I have always used the word “bubble” when people get too close in my personal space, so I totally understand your anxiousness! Most people think I’m an extrovert because I am very outgoing & can talk to anyone, however, I am really more of an introvert. I hate crowded, noisy places, especially when people get too close inside my “bubble”. Edit- I would love to find a shelf like that in the wild! Very cool!!

Irf is a great helper! My husband and I got that tapestry on our honeymoon over in PA over 50 yrs ago. We just celebrated our 50th in ‘22 when he passed away from Covid. I still have the tapestry….😊

That last item you looked at, the incredible frame with the woman portrait. Holy cow, the frame is probably worth some bucks. If I see something like that as I reconstruct my life in a bigger home, I'd totally consider it and turn it into a mirror. I'm not big on portraits of people to begin with but certainly not someone I don't know or have relation to so yeah, that frame really made me say, "Wow!"

I have a small collection of the type of doll that was losing her hair. They all are looking sideways. They are stuffed with sawdust and dressed in national costumes of different countries. They must have been souvenir dolls. Amy, you better hold on tight to Irf. That man went down on the floor for you ❤. You guys are such a great couple. 😊

I guess he has not gotten the memo about your no hearts in shelves policy, because I am sure all of us following you know that mantra. 😂 We finally made it back from the old country, but might go back again for longer next year. Amy, I feel the same way about people in my space. It’s at the worst at the bins but I power through. And I love that little turquoise pottery cup/planter. I agree about over priced thrift stores. I just dropped by Savers today and put most things right back on the shelf, they were overpriced. That’s why the bins is my happy place.

Don't you think the booboo on the multi miniature ( type😮 shelf ) is a character use flaw , there are people who want that, offer it as is or take a poll before altering it. I agree with all of the above fans, the two of you are absolutely darling!

We have camped at once a year at Evergreen campground, which is very close to Harvest Thrift, for the last several years. We go there each time! The house is always so beautifully styled! I heard that it’s beautiful at Christmas! We love your area! We’ll be back! 💕

LOL 😅 I'm exactly the same way. My Mom and I do thrifting and antiquing. One time it was a family of 4 or 5. The husband and wife was the worst being 2 rows apart and yelling at each other on things they see while yelling at the kids as well. Totally get the anxiety with the people following you.
