"Two minutes of ecstasy," he says at 5:08. Something tells me that plenty of people in that crowd had a different kind of ecstasy, which lasted the entire eclipse.
I was in Salem, Oregon yesterday, and it was AMAZING! Truly once-in-a-lifetime. The traffic on our way back to Washington was CRAZY! 6. Hours!!! It was worth it, though.
Diana Trash132 they kept you In? When I was a kid we made a big event out of a partial eclipse. We even got to make our own glasses to watch it as a project.
I think that's terrible but I expect the school was covering it's back in case some parents on the make suing them for thousands of dollars for not protecting their little ones.
We had thunderstorms today so I didn't get to see it, but I'm glad so many people reported on it and took videos and pictures of it. Glad I have the internet! :)
For the 2024 Eclipse I'm telling people stop trying to beat the weather. Make plans and if it happens it happens. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xsIFapbl8Y4.html
Wow!! Thank you so much for sharing this. I didn't get to witness it myself because we had cloudy skies here in Massachusetts. I was really looking forward to seeing it, so you can imagine my disappointed. Thanks to you and many others who are sharing their videos I'm getting to at least see it. It honestly brought tears to my eyes. Forever Grateful Sincerely, Sunscreen Stacy 🌞🏖
Yes no politics were discussed on top of the mountain where I was. I think people just forgot ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xsIFapbl8Y4.html
I'm actually riding a train back right now from South Carolina. Words can not describe how amazing it was to see full totality. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
I live in Oregon so I got too see it. It was amazing. Went from full sunshine to being pitch black for about 1 minute and then it went back too full sunlight again.
Wow it was really beautiful, I only saw a partial eclipse where I'm from, I can't imagine the feeling of what it was like seeing the totality in person
Irene Torres Well, how would you explain seeing it again tonight when it just passed over the United States today. It takes 24 hrs to come around again, I think. Not sure. I find the path of the moon confusing!
you're really confused haha the moon lasts 28 days circling the earth. what it seemed like the moon was moving is because the rotation of the earth, but the moon will almost stay in the same place, so I wouldn't be surprised if the moon comes out tonight.
The moon is now in its new moon phase it appears during the day when it begins to grow again it will start to appear later during the night it's all about the position during its orbit.
April 8th will the the next eclipse in 2024 when we're dark for about 4 minutes. *Ohio Total Solar Eclipse* April 8th, 2024. Come early, stay late. Wow moooon! such overwhelming to witness that kind event I hope i were there to see that, how sad my place is covered by dark cloud and typhoon coming,But happy to see the sunshine God blessABC🌚
The sad thing is that where I live is just an hour away from complete totality yet for some reason some people still didn't go see it. Like seriously, can't you give up like 4 hours of your life to see a (almost) once in a lifetime event? Come on. I completly understand why most people won't drive half way over the country to see it, but even when it was just one little hour away some people still couldn't be bothered to see it.
This is truly GODS WORK! Cannot be done by human power. This is power and strength of God. Absolutely amazing! Amazing video regardless of people's ignorant comments!
Im a cristian too but this is merely not gods work. The moon is a chunk of the earth that broke off a long time ago but way after earths creation and yes the sun is the only star in our solar system but there are trillions of other universes with Trillions of stars. As proven by NASA the moon moves at about 3 cm away from earth a year so 200 million years ago this wasnt a thing and in about 200 million this isnt gonna be a thing. Eventually the moon will be gone and trillions of years from now if life still exist on earth it will all be wiped out because the sun will burn out
Nice video but guys, you don't need glasses during totality! You missed out on the best part of the eclipse! Hopefully you can experience the full effect in 2024.
I was in Oregon and watch the eclipse Later when the eclipse was over, it took me 2 hours to get to my home and regular it will take 10 minutes It was hell of a traffic 😒😒😒😒
hi julia g ! did anyone see that couple get hitched. hope they waited for the total eclipse. what a cool pic that would be of them with the eclipse in background.
I only got a partial view from where I was. If I had traveled a state down I would have seen it fully. Unfortunately there is no time for that when you have jury duty. 🤣
' how that area so dark outside while moon sun eclipse... maybe a person did put a len with dark tint on the videocamera look dark... or use a videocamera with brightness and contrastness control
