Andrew we flew back from Tenerife just over a week ago. In the new terminal there are escalators and a lift to a area with toilets. There are seats up there where you can relax and watch the planes coming in and taking off.We were delayed but only by about 1 hr.. A great place to chill if the airport is busy and your flight leaves from that end. Only problem is there are no screens there to be able to check flight info. You would need to use your phone

We flew back with Jet2 on Thursday, we had to sit on the aircraft for 1 hour delay due to French air traffic control on strike very frustrating 😢 but landed back in Manchester just 30 minutes late so not to bad. Hope you & your Dad enjoyed Eltonn John !

We were in TFS when the UK had the bad weather recently. Luckily we were flying to Stansted which was clear but everything west of East Midlands was delayed from between 3-8 hours it was bedlam, people everywhere no seats there were people sat on the kids rides just for somewhere to sit. We got stung for the water 2 bottles for 6 euro only to find the vending machines were only 1.50 euro.

We should of flown at half 4 yesterday but we didn't fly until half 5 we didn't get to Manchester until half 9. Then travel back home didn't get back until midnight cause of road closures near the m6 and stuff.

If you were delayed make sure you check if you can claim compensation! I think it’s over 3 hours, even if it’s only a cheap flight like Ryanair it can still be worth it , especially if you are inconvenienced! Or they should at least offer you a food and drink voucher!

Only 3 hours delayed from landing so they made up the time with a short flight, not entitled to compo!

@@TheKnightStrider So that’s why they burned the extra fuel by going faster, in order to save paying everyone compensation! I read a while ago that’s why the scheduled times allow for a longer flight time. Use the rules to your advantage, eh, Mr O’Leary?

Hi Andrew, mother in laws flight was delayed 3hrs from Liverpool. We seen this delay before we left to get to the airport and thought we will just arrive 2hrs later Instead to check in. We got there late evening 2hrs before the new schedule. They were literally just about to go home and said we still had to arrive for original check in time regardless of delay. She only just got let through. So wondering is it the same if this happens in Tenerife?

Had this happen many times which is an unfortunate frustrating part of air travel. Outbound delayed flight always sells all the food and drink going out and nothing or not much left for return service. They said it’s a spare plane?? Technical difficulties?? Hmmm really Ryanair?? 😂 Having looked on FR24, flight went out late from LJLA using a based plane and crew, me thinks crew members were late to book on shift or waiting for member of crew to come from elsewhere hence delay but I could be wrong. Air space restrictions over certain countries maybe another reason. Anyway enjoy your visit back home in Liverpool and I’m looking forward to future content 😀

Wow that looked a busy stressful travel day but atleast you could some work stuff and editing I suppose,I do love how you said you need a break as you haven't had a day off but I would imagine neither has laura so hopefully she gets a break soon aswell😔😁did Dean end up with a meal in the end as you said you'd show it but didn't🤔😬hope you sort your car crash issues out but I'm surprised you don't have dash cams in each car tbh,🙂👋

get a travel insurance policy with Lounge access if flights delayed over an hour 👍. WHS duty free prices are on par with UK petrol station prices. once in awhile though Haribo with have sweets with £1 embedded in the packaging print, the cashier will still try n ring it through at £2.50 🙃

Hope you’re not there too long - we spent 36 hours in Tenerife airport last October- had to sleep on the floor and sadly Ryanair were a disgrace! Not much to do for a decent sized airport
