For me this is an amazing watch. The design, the details on the dial, the movement, the finishing is all luxury level. It looks and feels like an Omega or Breitling at such a great price of $3,100. A chronometer movement too. No other brand offers this much for $3100.
Hi John, yes we agree! The details on the watch are awesome and it wears really well too, despite the size. Needs to be tried on to get the full experience. :)
I bought the blue Chronograph on a bracelet. Beautiful watch the only downside is the bracelet fitting mechanism, they are pins and not screws. You would expect the screw mechanism from a watch like Longines. Well I fixed the problem by buying a brown leather strap instead of the blue strap!!! Superb upgrade, the brown looks more elegant and less coordinated than the blue. By the way great video!!!
Thanks for your feedback, Ed! We are guessing that the brand might want to cap the price tag and hence didn't show the movement with the kind of finishing that deserves an open caseback?
Bought a 5 months old second hand for 1200$ and it's a great ⌚️. Anyone know if the leather strap is waterproof? I imagine swimming is not good for the leather.
Thanks for your question! Tough decision. They are two very different watches in terms of style, though - this Longines Spirit is aviation inspired and a chronograph, and the Tudor Black Bay 58 is a dive watch. Size wise, Longines Spirit Chrono is larger at 42mm, and Tudor BB is at 39mm. I would suggest that you try both and see which you feel more comfortable with - and connected to. :)
@@bertrandarturogomezcuevas1710 At this moment in time, where budget is a consideration, and having already had a few dive watches in the personal collection, I would say the Longines Chronograph. A COSC-certified chronograph at around SGD4,500 is a great value buy. :)
Of course. ETA is also owned by the SWATCH group, as is Longines, so the mechanism is inside the house, but for Longines in particular, it is being further improved.
