Hah! You also have my Wapabi spot! I saw you going down Old Man River RD in other video too...I need you to stop showing all the good spots man hahahahha
I just found your channel and well be your 600 subscriber I definitely liked it and had to comment and subscribe i'well wait until the video ends and then subscribe so it should stick. We live east of Nordegg so mostly day trips luv those jeeps Thanks for the great video
Hi, I've been enjoying your videos. I was hoping you would share your filming equipment info. Are you using a GoPro on some sort of gimbal mount? What do you find works best?
I'm glad you like the videos 👍 Everything is filmed on GoPro 7, GoPro max, Cannon EOS and cell phones. The internal stabilization of the GoPro is pretty impressive. I just got a GoPro 11 and I think stabilization is too good if that makes sense.
Great question. Although having the extra space is great, we actually take two vehicles for two reasons. My wife and I both want to drive and there is less arguments this way 😎 But mostly for safety, when going to some of the remote places we go, never go alone. Clubs and groups are a great way to do this but we like our independence, we like to go where and when we want to go. Dave and Mary Anne are great to go with that way. Keep watching, we have some remote trips planned for this summer 👍
@@VoyagerOverland no offense to the OP, but the the backcountry is being assaulted lately by inconsiderate people using apps/sm that made it easy for them. Im of the same state of mind now, If I find a good spot through exploring, Im not not telling. I want to be able to go back next year and not find shit filled plastic bags everywhere, empty beer cans , and expended ammunition casings.
@@tubatits To be honest, most of the places we go are well maintained by users. But you are right, the more accessible the spot is, the more likely it is to have a mess left behind for someone to clean up...
@@VoyagerOverland Im in the Okanagan, and its bad enough here, and gets worse the more you go towards the lower mainland/island. I think the vanlife craze has brought people out who shouldnt be. Anyway, enjoying the vids. Please keep it up. *how busy does the ghost area get?? That place is high on my bucket list, preferably in the fall.
The Ghost area is busy especially on weekends being close to Calgary but we always manage to find a quiet spot to camp. I prefer to go on a week day if we can 👍
We both like to drive off road and some of the places we go, you never want to be with only one vehicle. We always have a means recover our own vehicles and to get out of remote places if things go wrong with a vehicle. Safety first 👍
