Crown Land Camping in South River

The ice hadn't been off the lakes long but we decided to head to the South River area to do some trout fishing, camping, and exploring. We tested out some new gear and looked for more great campsites on crown land.

We also do tons of crown land camper. We have some amazing spots along lakes and rivers that we absolutely enjoy during all four seasons. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to your next video.

Hi there:) I'm from Nova Scotia but spent 15 winters guiding that whole area and a large portion of Algonquin by dog team. I fondly remember the spots you guys were and at that 2nd lake you fished we had a camp there where I spent many a night with dog sled trips. I won't say the names of the places but that one lake is awful wet wink. The other lake right beside it is actually stocked with some real nice Splake trout if you're back that way it's a good one to fish. Safe travels

Cool! We were in South River for a quick trip this winter and saw dog sled tracks. We haven't had much time to fish the lakes, but we'll definitely be going back to look for splake. Thanks for watching!
