Ah - then perhaps you know my songsister Alison Wedding?? I was a graduate of the first All The Way In Master Class with Rhiannon... One of two from the midwest - I am near Chicago in NWIndiana and we can be a little slow to grasp new ideas here - the other singer from Indiana is from Bloomington - down with the University... more open... I also did the first Omega Class with Bobby before I studied with Rhi... I was fortunate enough - having done a workshop here - to get to work with the kids!
where do you do this??? i have had several attempts at groups here... see my video "Life As Improv" at the Aquatorium.... I have a 'trybe' in Kalamazoo....
Nah. Berklee is bigger than people realize and i wasnt really in any of the serious groups. I did most of my stuff with instrumentalist and away from the stage hahahaa. Berklee can be very intimidating. I wish I could afford to take a master class. As it is I barely finished berklee! now have lots of debt! yay. But it was worth it. gotta go to sleep now lolz
I'm located in Boston. Learned by watching and doing workshops at Berklee College of music with Rhiannon, Bobbi Mcferrin (from a distance), and my own exploration with other Berklee kats. What they do is very thick, lush, heady, and exciting-- BUT I've brought it to the basic levels for non-professional singers. I do a lot of improvisation as games for youth, but have yet to do long workshops with teens which would be needed to teach them my approach. check out voicesofharmony boston (DOT) org
