I agree with you that $90 was too much for this ride. I wanted to do it so I could answer questions from others but I’m so glad we needed up paying half of that. Even then, it’s still pretty high. I’d say $20-25 would be a good price point for it.

Well, I'd hate to be the one to dissuade you from taking a cruise since I truly believe that cruising is the best type of vacation! Pretty much all cruise lines have most things included in the fare - your cabin, food, entertainment, etc. Alcohol is usually an extra charge but some lines (like Norwegian) have cruise fares that include it. We have cruised for about 15 years without spending anything extra on board and had the best vacations! After that, we started trying new things that had additional cost, but we didn't really have to. This particular video refers to the trend we are seeing now where cruise lines are adding more and more "extra" activities that are not included in the cruise fare and have an additional cost. With that said, this is a great example where it's an activity where only a small number of people on board would be interested in, so it's not something that you would miss out on if you chose not to pay for it. If you are interested in cruising at all, I would encourage you to go once and see for yourself. I know that for us, we went once and were hooked. Then, all our friends that we convinced to come on a cruise with us loved it and have been cruising regularly since then.

Actually, no. They include a vertical video but you have to buy pictures. 🙁

@@omgitsmatt3mdm117 I thought so too! I was pretty shocked when we logged it to download our photos and saw that we had to pay $25 for each photo. While having the video is nice, they could have included the photo that they ask you to pose for 😂

Thank you for the comment. I love heights and it was still quite a feeling when you step over the edge! It's definitely not for anybody who is scared of heights. I hear that they been testing different price points and having occasional sales down to $25 per person, which is a lot more appropriate for this activity.

Great to hear that! Was that a special deal they were running or did they lower the price down to $24?

I am going on the Icon of the seas next week and I have notice the cruise date the cheaper it would be due to it been random slots throughout the day. I was able to book it for $24 last week but my kids booked it in advance for $45.

Yep, we ended up paying $49 after cancelling and rebooking and felt that it was worth it to do it once. Not something I'd do again though.

Maybe $15-$20 since the roller coasters on Carnival and the go karts on NCL cost around that.

I agree. The original price is way too much. I've heard that some people are seeing occasional $25 "sale" prices, which is a lot more in line with what it should cost.
