God Lord this most blind fanboy praise I've seen in a while. Were they EVER good live? I first saw them on Warped 2016 - dissapointing, hardly any passion on display, Dave was the only seemed to put ANY power in his voice. I swear to god half the show playback Saw them again in Warped 2018 - You could tell they were missing key members. Many vocal lines were skipped. Had the same Studio band problem. November 2018 - Saw them for the last time when they were support for Underoath and DGD. God Lord I couldn't think they could get worse. Andy's voice could barely be heard. Bassist was TRYING to do Dave's parts but.....he ain't no Dave. Guitarist was bored. The whole crowd matched their energy. This band is dead as fuck. Don't see them live.

@@racer24t really? I just saw them recently and I was so into their energy, they seemed quite alive on stage. I didnt leave disappointed. Hopefully I dont feel the same way you have if I ever see them again in the near future. Would be a downer to see them suck ass on stage

They are clearly a studio band. Their sound (drums, gruitars, etc) is so Fake (no disrespect) like too compressed, too processed, too Pc...ish.

LegendaryFFA go back and listen to some of the stuff on the fallout and ROTR. Dave’s screams have much more depth and substance to them, especially his mids and lows. Like I said, Tree is solid, especially being that he’s doing it while playing a rhythm instrument, but when Dave did his thing, there was an energy like no other.

@@MetsMania15 Dave's screams were nothing special imo but he brought a lot to this band. He was A LOT better than Andy, back then anway. andy's screams have gotten much better but Dave was my favorite member and then the whole thing happened :/ that being said, though, new cte is still great

Shooting yourself in the foot is what your doing when surprise realeasing a rock album. Look Up Avenged Sevenfold talk about regret from surprises realeasing The Stage. They ran into so many fans at their shows afterward that had no idea they even released anything. So their numbers and chart success suffered. Crown The Empire ain't Beyonce. Expect it to be a flop compared to their last two records. Only band who could get away with a surprise now is maybe TOOL.

I honestly hate when I see comments like “their old music is better than this shit”. I mean yeah maybe this song isn’t for you but still to go and write hurtful comments like that is not really nice because after all this is a piece of these artists, and if you don’t like it than alright you don’t have to listen to it ever again. But I LOVE it CTE never disappoints me and I’m so glad that I know of them... because over the past 7 years not a single person ( that I mentioned CTE to ) knew of them... and Man do I pity them because like what are you doing with your life ??
