i agree puck's orb is so weird now sometimes it curves fast sometimes its super slow, but this is my favorite patch so far, brings back a lot of the dota1 memory where nobody knows wtf is going on....
if its a tight curve it slows down, it accounts on the travel time and the curve deficit.. i.e. more curve is slow because of the counter motion.. slight curve is still fast..
Click far should give you straight orb. Test it out and let me know, tho it's still really hard in tight situations especially for seasoned puck players.
It'd be so good if the curve facet adds damage the longer it hits the enemy. So the strat is hit them with tight curves so the orb grinds them to death.
If you wanna straight orb, put your cursor far in the direction you wanna go and click. Tbh even if the 2nd facet is just +200 orb speed i would still pick that anyday. The curve thingy can really mess you up during close games.
i'm so happy to see sing also struggling with the orb, I wish I could just take the extra fast orb speed, the controls to make it curve are waaay too sensitive.
