damn those lyrics really hit hard now... first time i heard this I was in a different place but these past two years battling with substance abuse has been a nightmare.
@@mynameisrick7 I'm doing a lot better.. its still a struggle (especially with covid) but went to rehab and been almost a year sober off hard substances

I enjoyed "My Old Ways" much more but still I'm really impressed with everything you guys have been releasing lately, including this! If this didn't make it on the new record then I can't wait to see what's replaced it!
I appreciate the help but I did already, I'm saying that it was so good and that I was so pleased with it that I'm surprised it didn't make the record. And with that, they more then likely replaced it with something they thought was better. Which makes me anticipating this album all that much more!

Reminds me of my childhood. Like this one time I got one of my moms percs and she tried to cut my throat. Glad she’s passed. Glad to know I wasn’t the only person who had a sick childhood. Haha
To me this is more like The plot in you that I love in comparison to my old ways, even though that song is good, this is the type of song that got me to love this band.

I love this song. I can see why some people dislike the chorus. The song has this distinct feel, then the chorus seems a bit slow. But that's music. I love the song regardless.
Anyone notice Landon writes the wrong lyrics a couple times? He sings "drank myself into a hole" and he writes "this hole" instead. Then later he sings "I lie here shaking" but he writes "I lie here waiting"
The song was brought to my attention by Spotify a couple months ago and just checked out the video, because I have been enjoying the song ~very~ much in the meantime. No fan of cringe shirts with photos of women clad in lingerie though. But then again, to be expected from the genre. Will still check out the band's other music, am curious how they have developed. Also enjoying one song probably isn't enough to see a show, in case they come to europe.
This is fucking amazing. The things everyone's doing in the video are accurate to what one does when they're high or when sober and anxious. I feel this video and song way to much..
This video was absolutely awesome, really creative and unsettling...more than the song itself. I always like the vocals but I can kinda see why this didn't make the album.

The instrumentals are on point. Really impressed with the drums, production wise i questioned the snare but got used to it around a minute in. Greatjob!
If you like this you should check out their first 3 albums. Anything past the 3rd album gets less heavy with each song. There's still some bangers on those softer albums tho
How the hell is this anything like Slipknot? Just because of the name "Crows" which has nothing to do with Slipknot anyway? And Slipknot kept their sound. Sit down kid.
I'm not saying they directly stole stuff from Slipknot, it still sounds like TPIY. The vocal style is very similar. The way he builds his lines in that creepy manner sounds like classic Slipknot. Also, the production (especially on the drums) reminds me a lot of Slipknot. This wasn't meant as an insult, I just got such a Slipknot vibe from this. Also, you may have liked the album, which is your right, but I thought Chapter V sounded tired and lazy. Nothing stood out to me as exceptional, and Slipknot used to be one of those bands that blew you away all the time. Their first three albums are masterpieces and they totally revolutionized the genre. Basically, the darkness of this song and the way it flowed reminded me so much of Slipknot. That's all.
That exactly what I'm thinking and I only read "Slipknot" from your comments. It's cool how this sounds like what made old slipknot cool, while also sounding like The Plot in You, since we all know Slipknot won't sound cool again, and they're probably gonna go on like a 30 year hiatus cuz their guitarist got hurt
