Assistant Commandant is a Gazetted Officer (either Direct Recruit, or LDCE passed promotee from Sub-ordinate ranks); Asst Commandants are certainly not Junior Commissioned Officers!

Class 1 officer ka grade pay 5400 se start hota hai, CRPF mein itna grade pay nahi hota hai. 7th play commission ke baad pay matrix ke hisab se salary milti hai.

In the 7th CPC all the ranks have their pay level and not grade pay. Each pay level have their respective pay and not grade pay. Amend your video.

Civil Services carry no rank. So to say about rank is a wrong. Wether IAS, IPS & other civil services below them. Only military services carry rank & post. Civil services have posts designated to it's services. This is the distinction between the men in civil services. Let me give you examples. Superintendent is a post. Now a IPS holding the insignia of supritend wil be classified as supritend of Almora. The place the IPS is posted. So also with higher higher posts he may get promoted to. Also when retired S. K. Rathor. Below the name ex I.G. So with IAS. Mr.N .Mathur. below the name ex deputy secretary (finance). But in case of miliary ranks and posts are different. Captain Vivek Kumar. No name of place or post. Brigadier ( rank) now a person holding this rank can either be holding independent command, or a staff officer. Same goes for higher military ranks Maj General T.K.Sawamithan. H can either be holding independent command : GOC 31st armoured division or be a staff officer to a corp. When military officers retire they write Maj. General ( retired) T. K. Swaminathan. No posts, nor place is mentioned. True they carry insignia to that of military officers. But it is for two reasons a) govt. past / present have not applied their mind to make insignia different to military insignias 2) Nor have ever corrected this mistake publicly by notice or via media now.
